Let's go back to a time when life was simple and easy. Like peaches and cream on a summer set day. And the smell of happiness was a like a hot apple pie, fresh out of the oven. Where children's laughter filled the air... Time was simple. No worries...

Sad to say, what Josephine had said about her own father in law, Mr. Wellington was spot on. He was truly obsessed with the idea of Maple and Andrew getting back together. And Josephine knew that he would stop at nothing to see it happen. Especially since his wife was so broken-hearted over the day that Maple had turned down Andrew's proposal all them years back that night on the beach at Eden's Shore. But it didn't matter. For many years to come, he would try, but to no avail. I bet you already know, that's another story for another time.
Upon that note folks, Maple and Josephine rejoined the wedding party. It did however come with one condition. And what is that you might say? Well for Maple and Andrew to come to some sort of final amends. Particularly because of what happened with the brooch and all.
Although Andrew did Maple wrong and tainted their relationship, not to mention his so called perplexing feelings he still had towards her, Josephine felt it was time for them to be on the amicable side of things. Even if it was only for Josephine's sake. And for her, they did. After all, Maple did feel that Andrew had deep regret and irrefutable remorse for what he did. She knew she couldn't keep punishing him for what she promised to forgive. And she did say someday she would forgive. So why not "some day" be today?
Nonetheless, upon their reconciliation, Maple made sure she held and hid nothing back from Tator as he was by her side the whole entire time when she and Andrew finally came to terms. For she knew the Tatorsons and the Wellingtons would after all be in each others lives until days of old. Whether they liked it or not. So why not start fresh and anew?
Though the girls were at peace, it didn't come easy for the men. Andrew and Tator that is... They were after all old rivals. And now they had to clear the air and settle as if they were old chums? As if they didn't ever fight over the one woman that now forever intertwined their lives? As if they everything was just peachy keen?
Shoo-wee! Have ya ever seen two alpha males standing head to head? Toe to toe? Breath to breath? If you haven't, I guarantee you would have that particular day, when Andrew and Tator had to once again come face to face. But this time, it wasn't like that day at the courthouse some years back. You remember when they wanted to rip each other to shreds over the love of Maple? Nah. This time, was different.
Fact is they they had to come together in reconciliation and conceded to their own bullheaded stubbornness. Moreover their lack of so called loathing for each other, and no longer be at odds. At least for the sake of Maple and Josephine. So they too compromised and came to terms with being in each others lives. I can tell you that was no easy feat for either of them. Why it was like pulling teeth with no anesthesia straight from lion's mouth! Ya shoulda seen them... clenched jaws, clenched buttocks and the flares of flaming nostrils were in overdrive. But they knew, for the sake of their wives, there was no other way. No one ever said it would be easy. And it definitely wasn't easy..
