Let's go back to a time when life was simple and easy. Like peaches and cream on a summer set day. And the smell of happiness was a like a hot apple pie, fresh out of the oven. Where children's laughter filled the air... Time was simple. No worries...

Would ya just look at that! Tears of endless joy they call it. Why not one soul could've ever imagined... Heck fathomed, that such water works could ever come from Mrs. Crowder! Landsakes why just her tears alone, she coulda competed with Noah and the ark! Shoo wee! Why even the parting of the Red Sea for that matter.
No one could've gave her more greater joy on that day than Tator himself. He was after all the last one she truly needed to make an amends with. And on that glorious late afternoon, on September 25th, with the sky as pretty as gates of heaven opening themselves, Mrs. Crowder was finally mended and made whole. By just that one embrace by her forgiving grandson.
Glory alive! That woman was so happy she danced a jig on that shiny new dance floor lit up by lanterns in a parade of beauty, right in the middle of Miss Millie's backyard. Why she danced fancier than a leprechaun discovering his pot of gold! If ya didn't see it with your very own eye, you woulda thought anyone who told ya that happening, was fibbing on month of Sundays.
Yes sir... Mrs. Crowder's heart and soul had risen from the grave she had dug up and mournfully buried herself on the day her sweet Rusty went to walk on the streets of gold. But no longer! She had returned to the land of the living! She was revived! She was finally made alive. Her doting family was there to witness it all.
Not long after, all the witnesses and party goers, with their jaws still hanging from the trees upon seeing a giddy Mrs. Crowder bounce the night away, Tator had finally did as he had promised... He eagerly returned to his beautiful and patiently awaiting bride's side.
Lovingly and tenderly he waited till the father, daughter dance was near done. Finally in sheer bliss, as handsome as can be and dressed to the nines, in his white tuxedo as his masculine arms nearly ripped through the seams, Tator, took Maple's soft and delicate hands from Daddy's Woods loving embrace.
Kissing his daughter with slight tears in his eyes, Daddy Woods, finally did what he couldn't do for so long. He let his baby daughter go, knowing she would be endlessly loved as every woman should... in the same way that Christ loves the church, by none other than his new son in law and you better believe fishing buddy. With so much respect, Tator made a promise to Daddy Woods, that Daddy Woods knew Tator would never break. Or he would suffer his longhand rifle in the end. No doubt, Uncle Jeffy and even his own daddy and brothers would gladly join in and use him for target practice as well if he hurt one hair on Maple's head...
Till then, Daddy Woods mended his aching heart on the best way he knew how. You guessed it! He had a piece of pie or two making sure it wasn't the one that Georgia Pine had so cleverly snuck in! Rejoining his wife, Daddy Woods danced and blissfully ate the night away, till the buttons on his black one size too small tuxedo, neatly popped off!
With so much love in his incredibly attractive hazel eyes, and finally having her to himself, Tator held Maple in his arms and danced with his beautiful blushing bride. Course as you can believe, it undoubtedly came with a sigh of relief. More so with a thousand kisses to boot. And more to grow on. As he liked to say, one for each freckle on her captivating beauteous face. And more to come.
