The crisp night air couldn't have been more perfect for such a beautiful evening at the fall festival. It was after all a full moon... what could possibly go wrong?

"Why Maple Joelle!" A high pitched voice is suddenly heard behind her.

Maple had no idea who it was.

"It's me!" The voice said taking off their mask.

"Josephine!" Maple said hugging her long time friend. "Thought you weren't comin."

"Oh you know me! Always changin my mind." She said grinning. "Sides how could I not when I heard you were comin with the Andrew Wellington! Leslie Anne and I couldn't believe it!"

"Where is Leslie?" Maple asked.

"Oh you know she's somewhere probably chewin on a piece of parsley and flirtin with every fella in sight!" Josephine laughed. "Speakin of... where is yo's? Andrew, I mean."

"I'm not sho." Maple said looking around the room. "We we're havin a nice time and dancin. But then He said he'd be right back. Come to thank of it, it has been a good minute since I seen him."

"Well whuts he wearin?" Josephine asked.

"A wolf's outfit. Like little red ridin hood's wolf. Only cuter and less frightenin."

"So you must be little red." Josephine teased.

"Must be." Maple murmured.

Maple started to wonder if Andrew had suddenly ditched her. But before she could even relay that to Josephine...

"Well there he is!" Josephine said pointing to him. "Must've been standin there the whole time. And the way he's lookin at you, why he's lookin like you are tonight's suppa!" She laughed. "I can see his lips lickin now from here!" She teased.

"Oh hush!" Maple blushed.

But he did seem to be staring quite hard. So much so, Maple could feel the blush on her cheeks rising.

"Well, I better get back to my date." Josephine remarked. "Mo Thumper. He decided to come as a snail. Shows you how my nights goin."

"Slow?" Maple smirked.

"How'd you guess?" Josephine said rolling her eyes and putting back on her mask. "I'll leave you to yours." She said hugging Maple one more time before she left. "Oh by the way, I saw yo parents. They sho are some em!" Josephine giggled! "Humpty Dumpty and Little Bo Peep! Well bye!" She said gliding away to find her slow moving date.

Maple was on her own in the crowd, as she looked back to only find that Andrew had once again disappeared. This time she went to look for him. She saw his tail going around the corner and chased after.

Seemed he wasn't gonna stop moving. In fact he went outside in the chilly night air. Maple followed. She slightly shivered but kept her pursuit. She tried to run in her shoes, but she wasn't used to wearing heels. She finally caught up with him in calling distance as he went passed the icy lake! Maple hollered.

"Andrew Wellington!"

But he wouldn't stop.

"Andrew! You hear me callin you?"

He just kept movin. It was so dark, all except the moonlight. Seemed they were getting further and further away. The only way Maple could see and keep up with him was because of that wagging tail!

"Why are you runnin? And from me!" She hissed!"

He didn't answer...

"Whut kind of game are you playin?" Maple fussed now feeling upset and out of air from the hunt. "It's cold out here! And how dare you bring me, just to ditch me!" She hissed.

He was voiceless...

"Well how you like that? Fine!" She hissed. "I ain't got time for this! Be that way! I'll find my own way home!" she said walking away upset.

Maple started to make her way back to the festival. Nervous to be out in such a dark area, she found temporary relief as She could see the lights to guide her back. The music once again began to play. Maple could feel flames start to well up in her. She wanted to give him a piece of her mind. She started to turn back. But before she could even turn all the way, she suddenly heard him rushing up behind her. He startled her! Maple gasped! He stopped in his tracks. Maple wondered why...

"Say somethin!" She fussed with her fist raised high. "I dare ya!" She growled!

But he said not a word. Maple started to become a little bit alarmed at his coy behavior.

"Andrew, if you are tryin to be in character, you are doin a fine job of it."

Still silence...

"I'm goin back to the party. You kin stay out here in these cold woods and howl at the moon for all I care! I'm goin in." She fussed.

But before she could even move another inch, he grabbed her!

"Let go of me!" She cried! "I swear I'll smack you good if you don't!"

But he just held tighter. So much so Maple couldn't fight back. And right as she started to holler up a storm, he suddenly began to wildly dance with her. At first Maple wanted to kick him in the shin and run. But somethin in the way he held her, made her stay and entertain his peculiar mannerisms a while longer.

In fact soon she began ease up a little bit. Even laugh as the dance became even more wild. She found him taking her breath away. Maple was now more intrigued. But just as she was starting to melt in his arms, he spun her away as she giggled. And just like that, the dance stopped. But not the music. It was still going. Seemed Maple wanted more. But he did not oblige her. He just bowed in a graceful like manner. With that, he walked like he was on the prowl towards a now breathless Maple.

Maple could feel her heart beating out of her chest with every step he took closer. Suddenly he was once again standing before her. He brought her in closer. Maple felt weak in the knees. She could see her breath in the night air and the butterflies rising every second they were alone. With baited breath, Maple closed her eyes. She wished for his lips. And before she knew it, he granted her wish.

Locked in a warm embrace, Maple felt the ground slipping beneath her. She couldn't believe what was happening. She desired more....

"Hey!"

She heard what sounded like angry voices calling out behind her.

Maple opened her eyes... and to her startlingly surprise, there was Tator standing before dressed in the wolf's costume. She was wrapped in his arms! She couldn't believe it. And the voice behind her was an under wearing livid nearly naked, Andrew Wellington.

"Hi." Tator said looking deeply into Maple's eyes.

Maple gasped! Tator grinned. And Andrew and his band of friends went chasing after Tator in the woods! But not before Tator laid another one on a very shocked Maple....

Maple stood there flabbergasted at what just took place. She couldn't believe it. She couldn't believe the whole time it was Tator. Later on she found out, Tator snuck into the festival and tied up a steaming Andrew Wellington, till his friends found him in the room with all the icy desserts nearly freezing the night away...

Maple just couldn't collect her thoughts on that. But she wasn't alone... standing there lurking in the dark, was an accidental witness to it all. Who you could tell was a now madder than a wet hen, farting in the wind, woman on fire. None other than Mrs. Magnus Crowder...
