I'll release what I've been holding back. There may be a bit of a gap before the next chapter.

2 days later

Wyvern Base, Kingdom of Amdis

The base is a spacious and well-maintained ground created for wyverns to take off, with tall iron towers and large red flags flying at the top. Several large stone structures are located a little distance away, serving as the command tower and stable of the wyvern base.

The commander of this wyvern base is Daroc Dubya, 58 years old. He is a slightly portly man whose middle-aged belly is somewhat prominent, but he was a hero who always excelled on the front lines in his younger days. Although he no longer has the stamina to fight on the front lines, he was brought in as the commander of the wyvern base for the know-how he developed back then. Personally, he would prefer to retire and live with his grandchildren, but there was nothing he could do about the orders from above.

However, today he was filled with joy at being entrusted with this base. The Médecins Sans Frontières Japan (MSFJ) from the unknown northeastern emerging nation of Japan would arrive at this base in a flying vehicle.

"Japan... and a flying vehicle... I can't help but feel excited at my age!"

Daroc, eager for their arrival, was preparing to welcome them outside with his guards. However, as the scheduled arrival time approached, the magical detection device in the command tower showed no signs of wyverns or anything else.

Everyone present began to suspect that there might be some trouble when one soldier noticed something approaching from the sky. As it got closer, the sound grew louder, and when it became visible, both Daroc and the soldiers at the base were astonished and bewildered. The stable echoed with the intimidating cries of wyverns.

"W-what is that?! Is it a dragon!? No, that clearly isn't a dragon!!"

"A-ah... it's a monster... we've summoned a monster..."

"Oh, God!!"

Some soldiers were paralyzed with fear, and a few in the back began to flee; some even fainted. But Commander Daroc suppressed his fear and remained where he was.

Japan Ground Self-Defense Force CH-47J Chinook

Total length: 30,18 m, wingspan: 16,26 m, cruising speed: 270 km/h. Maximum payload: approximately 9 tons; basic crew: 38, maximum: 55; can carry up to 2 light vehicles.

As the Chinook landed, 15 doctors emerged from the hatch. Among them was the head of MSFJ, Taihei Sayama, 60 years old.

With the noise of the Chinook's propellers and wind still echoing loudly, Sayama spoke as loudly as he could.

"Thank you for your warm welcome! I am Taihei Sayama, the head of MSFJ! I look forward to working with you today!"

"I am Daroc Dubya, the commander of the wyvern base! Thank you for coming today! I have countless questions for you, but there's no time! We must hurry to the royal castle in a carriage! It might be a bumpy ride, but we will arrive in about 30 minutes!"

"Thank you very much!!"

Thus, MSFJ hurriedly set off for the royal castle. The ride was, to put it plainly, quite uncomfortable, but in this urgent situation, not a single person complained.
