Arhalil Mountains, Northern Frontier Snowhorn, Second World

It was nearly the same time as the attack on the Gobba Mountains.

Amid the frigid northern lands, where endless white peaks stretch across the horizon, the 1st Fleet of the Lemurian Empire's Covenant Northern Frontier Expeditionary Army surrounded the stronghold of the northern heretic states nestled in the mountain range.

The 1st Fleet, renowned as the strongest fleet in the northern region, differed little in strength from the 2nd Fleet, save for one key distinction—the flagship.

Mitrogia-class guided missile battleship.

The vessel's aft deck housed an expansive platform. Naturally, this was not designed for the takeoff and landing of aircraft.

The deck split open in half, revealing a space below where large cylindrical objects painted deep green were neatly arrayed and secured in place. From the broad open deck, one of these objects slowly stood upright and was raised to the exterior.

A sharp conical tip.

A pair of wings at its head.

And two pairs of wings mounted at its rear.

This was the ship's signature weapon.

The magic missile.

The launch platform bearing the magic missile tilted its pointed tip diagonally upward toward the bow of the ship.

On the flagship Mitrogia-class's bridge, one female officer wearing a military cap and draped in a mantle signifying her rank stood commanding. Colonel Cattleya Mel Slaudra gazed intently at the Arhalil Mountains displayed on the monitor.

Her short silver hair, which slightly peeked out from under her cap, glittered under the bridge's lights. Though she was a woman, her bearing was unmistakably that of a soldier. With a refined and well-proportioned appearance, she was less of a traditional beauty and more often categorized as a "handsome" figure.

Thus, many soldiers regardless of gender found themselves captivated by her. When she was assigned as part of the frontier expeditionary army, the northern region under her command became the most sought-after deployment among personnel. Her poised stance, with her back straight and command baton firmly in hand, frequently inspired admiration and excitement in onlookers.

"Captain. Has there been any word from the delegation sent to deliver the surrender ultimatum?"

The speaker was the ship's seasoned female captain, Ivan Kalov Yanan, who stood beside her. Saluting, Yanan replied respectfully.

"Ma'am! We should be hearing back from them soon, but as of now, there has been no communication."

"I see," Slaudra nodded quietly.

Behind her, a row of female officers of subordinate rank watched her every move, their cheeks tinged red with admiration.

At that moment, one of the crew members hurried over to her, saluted, and delivered a report.

"Commander. We've just received a message from the delegation. They stated, 'We cannot betray the Creator.' It appears they've refused to accept the surrender terms—"
