Chapter 37: Five Great Powers Conference
〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜
Floating Island Lithopia, Gilbatoa Continent
Gilbatoa is a beautiful continent with vast, green land and mountain ranges. At its center lies a massive lake. Double the size of Hokkaidō, it is the second-largest lake in this world, the Lipia Sea.
Above the Lipia Sea hovered a somewhat large island. This island was like a paradise, where beautiful birds soared through the sky. And in the center of this island stood one grand building, a structure resembling the Pantheon from the Roman Empire, only about twice as large.
The path leading to the entrance was lined with polished marble stone pavement, flanked by people dressed in ceremonial attire standing in orderly rows on either side. Then, an elderly man appeared from the entrance. Looking up at the sky, he murmured quietly.
"It's been six years... I wonder what fate this meeting will bring to the world this time... Oh?"
From beyond the clear sky, five large black shadows were approaching, flying directly toward Lithopia.
"Oh... it's the representatives of the five nations that rule the world."
"That... that's the Vehicle of the Gods. Can it really carry people!?"
"It's enormous..."
"Humans couldn't possibly have created such a thing! Those Five Great Powers are truly blessed by the gods..."

Meeting Room, Conference Hall
Five people were seated at a large round table surrounded by a luxurious decoration.

- Lionello Neris, Director of the Foreign Affairs Bureau of the Kingdom of Leis
- Neyham Airdred, Director of the Foreign Affairs Bureau of the Hardique Empire
- Loran Shevtov, Foreign Minister of the Sahenantis Empire
- Ornella Vergazola, Foreign Minister of the Great Valkian Empire
"Ahem... With that, we will begin the 66th Conference of the Five Great Powers. I am Moises Perez, honored to serve as the chair of this meeting. To those I haven't seen in a while, it's been a long time; to those I'm meeting for the first time, it's a pleasure."
"It's been six years, hasn't it, Mr. Moises? You're looking older—you've got more gray hair."
"It's only natural for all living things. You've grown, too, Mr. Loran... you're 29 now, right?"
"Yes... just about to turn thirty."
As Moises and Loran exchanged words, faint laughter spread among the group. However, among them was one woman who kept a calm, unchanging expression.
"Mr. Loran, Mr. Moises... it's lovely to celebrate a reunion, but let's remember we're in a meeting."
With a soft, beautiful voice, the woman—Ornella Vergazola, Foreign Minister of the Great Valkian Empire—offered a gentle reminder.
