Responses from the opposition party are coming in, but I'm not confident that I've written them well...

A four-country summit will begin with Japan, Reumel, Amdis, and the Thestania Empire.

Since I have a night shift today, I will only post one chapter.

Late February, 10:00

Conference Room, Kingdom of Reumel

Three weeks after the turmoil in Unbekannt, Baron Murolo Datchies, an envoy from the Thestania Empire, arrived. Present at the meeting were:

- Kingdom of Reumel

   - Director of the Foreign Affairs Bureau, Homulus Mathu

   - Foreign Affairs Officer, Zahanas Teuth

   - Foreign Affairs Officer, Barry Lomon

- Japan

   - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tōru Awashima

   - Diplomat, Kaoru Masuzoe

   - Diplomat, Katsumi Niibori

- Kingdom of Amdis

   - Director of the Foreign Affairs Bureau, Gomes Meledires

   - Foreign Affairs Officer, Quilt Souffles

   - Foreign Affairs Officer, Lucille Mute

- Thestania Empire

   - Foreign Affairs Officer, Baron Murolo Datchies

   - Assistant Foreign Affairs Officer, Viscountess Zol Ramules

   - Assistant Foreign Affairs Officer, Viscount Torni com Dentes

The diplomats from the four countries sat around a large circular table. Among them, Baron Murolo exhibited an attitude unbefitting a diplomat by crossing his legs and puffing on a cigar, which displeased the officials from Japan, the Kingdom of Reumel, and the Kingdom of Amdis.

"Alright then... let's get this over with quickly. Is it correct to say that Japan truly has no intention of handing over the she-elf? There may still be time to reconsider," he said, extinguishing his cigar by pressing it against the table. This action momentarily twitched the temples of the gentle and mild-mannered Homulus, revealing his irritation.

"Yes, our country has already decided to temporarily place Princess Freya under our protection."

"I fail to find it comprehensible... this has nothing to do with Japan from the start, right?"

Diplomat Niibori replied, "Your country's aim is Princess Freya's ability, isn't it? We haven't confirmed it yet... However, considering that your country has been desperately searching for her by sending out agents, it's likely that her ability is indeed genuine. If that's the case, it's clear that sooner or later, she will use that ability against our country."

In response to Niibori's words, Viscountess Ramules, a female diplomat from the Thestania Empire, replied condescendingly. "If you understand that much, then I believe there's even more reason to hand her over to us. In that case, she won't use that ability against your country."
