I saw a movie recommendation for "We Were Soldiers," so I rented it and watched it.
It was super fun! If anyone hasn't seen it yet, I definitely recommend checking it out!

Sea 150 km from the Kingdom of Eir
The sky was perfectly clear with not a cloud in sight. The sea was calm, and the long-distance fishing fleet of the Kingdom of Eir was busy with their catch. Each time they hauled in the nets, large quantities of fish were brought up, splashing onto the deck along with seawater. The fishermen quickly packed the fish into wooden boxes.
"Wohoo! A big haul, yeah!!"
"Does this mean we're done for today?"
"Yeah! Let's head back to port quickly and surprise everyone! Looks like we're going to end the day on a good note!"
"Aye!"
As the fishermen were cleaning up their tools, one of them pointed toward the horizon and shouted loudly.
"Look! Incoming fleet!"
"Huh? A fleet? ...Which fishing boats are those? We don't often see foreign fishing boats around here."
"I-I don't know! They're giving off smoke, so I can't see clearly..."
"Smoke?"
The captain of the fishing boat took a telescope and looked in the direction the fisherman had pointed. Indeed, a large fleet could be seen. However, the captain didn't seem to be worried and began to speak calmly.
"Ahh, that's probably the Eirian military's fleet. Today's the day for military exercises, right? Nothing to worry about. Let the other fishing boats know with signal flags that there's no need to be concerned."
"Y-yes, understood."
As the fishermen continued to clean up, the captain glanced back at the fleet. A sudden sense of unease swept over him.
'Huh? ...They've already gotten that close? They're fast. As expected of military ships, they're catching the wind well... wait, that's against the wind.'
He pulled out the telescope again and focused more intently on the fleet. It was clear that they were moving at an unusually fast pace. Moreover, from the shape of the ships, it was evident that this was not the Eirian military's fleet.
"What the hell is that!?"
The captain broke into a cold sweat as he stared at the unknown fleet. He was about to shout for an emergency signal to be raised when—
BOOOOM!!
A sudden deafening roar echoed through the air, and several nearby fishing boats were blown to pieces.
"AAAAAAAAH!"
"AAAAAAAAGH!"
"H-HEEEEEELP—!"
In front of their eyes, a sudden catastrophe unfolded... The captain turned his telescope back toward the mysterious fleet and saw plumes of smoke rising from a peculiar cannon-like weapon.
"That's it... They did it!! We've got to get out of here, now!!"
The once lively sea grew noisy in a terrifying way, as the fishing fleet desperately turned their boats around and tried to head back to port. The captain hurried to his cabin, opened a drawer, and took out a manacomm stone.
