The next day

A high-class hotel under government jurisdiction, Tokyo, Japan

A hotel housing the kings of the demi-human nations stood quietly without the usual buzz of television crews outside. Numerous escort vehicles lined up in front of the hotel. The Japanese government, intent on avoiding any issues during this diplomatic visit, had implemented stringent measures to shield the guests from media attention.

"Well, it should be about time for them to arrive," muttered Noboru Kitakami, the guide awaiting their arrival at the hotel entrance, as he glanced at his wristwatch.

As he waited, Wenduil and the others emerged from the hotel. The automatic doors slid open, causing the group to flinch slightly.

"This... this magical door is something I can never get used to."

"It's not just the door... There's more to it than that."

Noticing their weariness, Kitakami asked what was wrong.

"Good morning! Um... You all seem a bit tired. Is everything all right?"

"Hm? Oh, no, uh... The accommodations were truly splendid! Yes, splendid indeed, but..."

"??"

Wenduil and Abijana hesitated, exchanging wry smiles. Then, Sharon and Dvergr stepped in to clarify.

"They were luxurious, but a bit inconvenient."

"Inconvenient!?"

"Oh, the food here is exceptional, and the drink is top-notch! The rooms were overwhelmingly luxurious, even for demi-humans. But..."

"But there were so many things we didn't know how to use. It was grand, but filled with unfamiliar items. I didn't want to complain, but..."

Kitakami reflected on his oversight. Despite providing high-level hospitality, he hadn't fully considered the cultural gap. He realized he should have taken a more cautious and detailed approach to guide them through the differences.

"My deepest apologies for the shortcomings."

"It's not your fault. We don't wish to complain to those of a nation with which we hope to build good relations. However, should you host delegates from other nations in the future, I hope you'll use this experience to improve. Is that right, Lady Sharon and Lord Dvergr?"

The two nodded lightly at Abijana's words.

"Alright, enough with the gloomy talk this morning! Today's agenda is to share information about the Hardique Empire, isn't it?" said Bahamut, energetically addressing Kitakami.

"Yes. We are going to have a meeting about that today. But..."

"But, what?"

"Before that, I'd like to give you a tour of Tokyo."

Bahamut and the others were taken aback. They had assumed they would head straight to the National Diet Building to continue the discussions from the previous day.

"A tour? Why now?"

"Precisely because it's now. While it's wonderful that your nations and Japan are forging diplomatic ties, you still know very little about our country. I thought that by helping you understand Japan better, we could deepen our relationship further."
