Jake is in his pajamas as he is seated in the movie room, his eyes engrossed onto the device in his hands. He looked comfy and cozy on the movie room couch, since it was big enough to practically be a bed.

Carrington walked into the movie room, his eyes immediately falling on Jake. He smiled at the sight of him, looking so comfortable and relaxed.

He quietly approached the couch, trying not to disturb Jake. He sat down next to him, trying to get a glimpse of what he was doing on his device.

Jake is simply playing some games on his phone. He is rocking slightly as he is focused. His eyebrows furrowed in concentration.

Carrington watched him with amusement, finding his concentration adorable. He leaned closer, resting his head on Jake's shoulder as he continued to watch him play.
"You look so serious," he whispered, a smirk on his face.

Jake glanced over, "Hi" he muttered before looking back at the screen. His rocking stilled once Carrington laid his head onto his shoulder. Instead he is bouncing one of his legs.

Carrington chuckled, noticing the bouncing leg. He gently placed his hand on Jake's thigh, stopping him from bouncing.

"Hey Jake," he said softly, looking up at him with a teasing smile. "Calm down, you're gonna make the couch shake."

Jake looked at Carrington. "You know i can't sit still." He reminded. Before he looked back at his phone.

Carrington rolled his eyes playfully, wrapping his arm around Jake's waist and pulling him closer.

"I know, I know," he said, resting his chin on Jake's shoulder. "But you're still cute when you try."

Jake felt a bit of blush dust his cheeks. Is his roommate flirting with him? Or was he just trying to be funny and friendly? He was a bit unsure but he just laughed sheepishly.

Carrington chuckled at Jake's reaction, noticing the blush on his cheeks. He could tell that he was a bit flustered by his comment.

He tightened his grip around Jake's waist, nuzzling his neck slightly."What's wrong, Jake?" he teased. "Cat got your tongue?"

Jake lightly pushed Carrington back and laughed asking, "What does that even mean exactly?"

Carrington laughed as well, playfully pouting at being pushed away."It means that you're being all shy and speechless," he said, booping Jake's nose. "You're so easy to fluster."

"No, cuz you're saying, a cat. And I'm not a cat, for one" Jake clicked his phone off and looked at Carrington."so like, how do cats even catch people's tongues?"

Carrington chuckled again, amused by Jake's literal interpretation."Oh, sweetheart," he said, shaking his head. "It's just an expression.it means  you can't form proper sentences."

"Ohhhhh," Jake nodded. "Yeah, because i was wondering what that one meant. Like i know most of them, but that one always fucked with me, i never got it"

Carrington couldn't help but smile fondly at Jake. He found it adorable that he had to ask what an expression meant."I'll have to make a list of all the expressions I use so you know what they mean," he teased, ruffling his hair.

Jake scoffed as his hair gets all fluffed up. "Fuck you man," as he jokingly swatted Carrington's hand away and turned back on his phone. He laid his head down on Carrington's lap and played the phone games again.

Carrington chuckled at Jake's response and the way he laid his head on his lap. He started playing with his hair, twirling the strands between his fingers.
