Jake was currently chatting with some other party goers at this evening's party. Some girls were flirting with him, but the flirting was going over Jake's head.

Carrington watched with a possessive look in his eyes.

Carrington was definitely not amused. He was a little annoyed at the fact that Jake was oblivious to the girls flirting with him.

As he watched from the bar, he downed another shot, feeling a pang of jealousy. He wanted Jake's attention, but he knew that he couldn't just barge in and interrupt.

"Alright, have a goodnight. thank you." Jake said as he waved to the women and walked himself to the bar. His red hair looked bright and flashy from the party lights.

Carrington watched as Jake approached the bar, his heart skipping a beat. He quickly put on a smile, trying to hide his jealousy. "Hey," he said, leaning against the bar. "Having fun?"

"Hell yeah, dude!" Jake beamed as he ordered himself a shot. Grabbing it and downing it with ease.

Carrington chuckled as he watched Jake down the shot. "You're a wild one, aren't you?" he teased, admiring the way Jake's hair glowed under the party lights.

"I guess," Jake cringed a bit as the alcohol burnt down his throat. He exhaled softly and glanced at his roommate. "How are ya?"

Carrington shrugged, trying to play it cool. "I'm good, just enjoying the party. Although I have to say, I'm a little jealous of all the attention you're getting."

"Oh," Jake laughs, shaking his head. "It's uncalled for, really. Those girls I was chatting to were really just pushing it, but I didn't want to be disrespectful. You know? So they just yapped my ear off and then also i tried to leave once to chat with someone else, one of them goes like- 'wHy aRE YoU sO mEAN?' like, lady,- I'm good-"

Carrington couldn't help but laugh at Jake's imitation of the girl. "She sounds like a real drama queen," he said, rolling his eyes. "But I guess that's what happens when you're the life of the party. Girls will throw themselves at you left and right."

"Ehh, personally I hate the attention. It's too crowded and uncomfortable." Jake shrugged his shoulders, "Ever since Tara and i broke up, I kinda just been a bit distant with the whole thing. You know?"

Carrington raised an eyebrow, curious about Jake's past relationship. "Tara, huh?" he asked, sipping on his drink.

"Yeah, she's still my best friend though" Jake replied, chuckling a bit. He picks up the drink he ordered and takes a swig.

Carrington nods,"That's good to hear," he said, feeling a pang of jealousy again. He didn't know why, really.

"Mhm." Jake hums in response, "Can I try your drink?" He asked, pointing to it.

Carrington looks down at his drink and chuckles. "Sure, go ahead," he said, sliding the glass over to Jake. "It's just whiskey. You sure you can handle it?"

"Whiskey is kinda gross, but it's alright." Jake picked up the glass, taking a sip.

Carrington watched as Jake took a sip of the whiskey, waiting for his reaction. "You don't have to drink it if you don't like it," he said, amused. "But I have to say, you're pretty brave for trying it. Most people wouldn't even touch whiskey."

Jake scrunched his face, "Johnnie drinks whiskey all the fucking time, I don't know how he does it."

Carrington chuckled at Jake's reaction. "Johnnie is a pro at drinking," he said. "But he's also an idiot. He can't hold his liquor for shit."
