Carrington was *not* having a good day. He had woken up late and was late to a photoshoot, which only ended up making him later to a meeting with his manager. And then his favorite coffee shop was out of his favorite drink, and to top it all off, he had just lost his keys!
He let out a frustrated groan as he stood outside the house trying to figure out what to do next.
Carrington quickly pulled out his phone and dialed Jake's number, hoping that he would answer. After a few rings, Jake picked up.
"Hey, what's up?" Jake asked, sounding slightly distracted.
Carrington sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Not much, man. I've just had the worst day ever. I'm locked out of the house and I don't have my keys."
"Oh shit, yeah let me come home and let you in" Jake replied, "I'm just at 7-Eleven real quick to get me some smokes and I'll be there."
Carrington let out a sigh of relief. "Thank god. I don't know what I would've done if you weren't home. I'll wait here for you."
He leaned against the wall, feeling grateful that he had Jake who was willing to help him out.
"Okay sounds good" Jake said as he clicks the hangup button on his tesla screen.
Carrington waited impatiently for Jake to arrive, tapping his foot against the ground. It felt like an eternity before he finally saw Jake's car pull up. He stood up straight and waved at him, grateful to see a familiar face.
Jake parks the car and then he exited out of it. "So, how'd you lose 'em? Johnnie ain't home?" He asked as he is taking the house keys out.
Carrington shrugged as he followed Jake to the door. "I have no idea. I just remember putting them in my pocket and then they were gone. And no, Johnnie isn't home. He's out of town for the week."
"Ohhh, okay, yeah. That's right." Jake replied as he is jingling the keys inside, turning them.
Carrington let out a sigh of relief as the door finally unlocked. "Thanks, man. I owe you one."
He pushed the door open and stepped inside, grateful to be back in the house. He flopped down onto the couch, exhausted from his long day.
Jake laughed as he entered and shuts the door. Tossing the pack of cigarettes onto the coffee table. "You look dead," He joked.
Carrington chuckled weakly, rubbing his eyes. "I feel dead. This day has been a nightmare."
He sat up slightly, eyeing the pack of cigarettes on the coffee table. "You really gonna smoke those?"
Jake shrugged, "Yeah?" He said, as he sits on the couch next to Carrington.
Carrington rolled his eyes, but couldn't help but smirk. "You know those things are bad for you, right?"
He playfully nudged Jake with his elbow.
"I don't care at this point" Jake replied as he nudged Carrington back. "So, besides your nightmare, what can i do to make it all better?"
Carrington thought for a moment, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Well, I can think of one thing that might make me feel better..."
Jake asked, "Okay, what?" He asked, not knowing and curious.
Carrington smirked, leaning in closer to Jake. "How about a massage? I'm so tense and stressed from today."
Jake snickers, "A massage? uh- yeah, i can do that-" He snickered more.
Carrington chuckled at Jake's reaction. "What? You don't think you can handle giving me a massage?"
He playfully raised an eyebrow, a teasing tone in his voice.
