☆Sensory Room!☆

Carrington decided today was the perfect opportunity to surprise his boyfriend Jake with a sensory room.

He knows recently for the past few weeks were rough for Jake - and probably making a nice comfortable sensory place can help him out.

Carrington loved his boyfriend with all of his heart, and seeing him struggling recently really broke his heart.

He knew Jake loved sensory stuff and anything that helped him stay grounded, and it also was the perfect excuse to cuddle him.

He had found an unused room in the house, and had set up an entire sensory room for him in there.

It had fairy lights strung up across the ceiling, a weighted blanket laid out on the floor, bean bags in the corners, and soft music playing from a speaker on the dresser. He even bought some new stim toys and other various sensory items.

Carrington had also set up some things to help with touch. There were various textured pillows on the bed and weighted blankets and comforters, all with different textures. There was also a weighted teddy bear, along with some stuffed animals.

There were also plenty of fidget toys on the dresser, and some other things to touch and feel.

Overall, it was very calming and cozy in there, and he couldn't wait to see Jake's reaction.

It was later that evening when Jake came home after doing what he had to do today. He walked inside the house, looking exhausted and drained from the day. He shuts the door. Not knowing what the surprise was coming. "Hi," he said tiredly and sat on the couch.

Carrington was in the kitchen, preparing a snack for the two of them. When he heard Jake come in and sit down on the couch, he stopped what he was doing and came out to greet him.

He pouted as he saw how tired Jake looked. He sat down beside him and wrapped his arms around him, nuzzling his face into his neck."Aww, baby... you look exhausted."

Jake nodded. "I am. I have been up since eight." As he yawned. "I had a lot to do today. I streamed and filmed with Johnnie. Then i filmed a podcast and then i had some other shit i had to get done. So pretty hectic day."

Carrington listened as Jake spoke, still hugging him tightly and rubbing his back. He knew that Jake had been working a lot lately, and it was clearly taking a toll on him.

"You poor thing... you've been so busy," he said softly, pressing a gentle kiss to his neck. "Why don't you go take a nap? You look like you need it."

Jake shakes his head. "Nah, I'm sure it's fine. Hey, what's the snack?" He walked into the kitchen.

"You need rest, baby. You're not 'fine.' "
Carrington protested, but he reluctantly let go of Jake and followed him into the kitchen.
"Just some fruit salad. Nothing fancy," he said, shrugging.

Jake picks up the fork and takes a bite before he sets the fork down. "Pretty good" he said after his bite.

Carrington smiled, glad that Jake was enjoying the fruit salad. He watched him eat for a moment before speaking again."By the way, I have a surprise for you," he said, a sly grin on his face.

"A surprise? I thought you wanted me to nap" Jake suspiciously replied. Crossing his arms with an eyebrow raised.

Carrington chuckled and rolled his eyes.
"You're not going to get any sleep if I tell you the surprise, dummy."He reached out and ruffled Jake's hair playfully.

"Ok babe that doesn't make any sense. You said that i should take a nap yet now you want to show me a surprise." Jake laughed. "Should i nap first?" He raised an eyebrow.

Carrington huffed, a pout on his face as he lightly hit Jake's shoulder."No, you can't nap first. It's a *surprise* for a reason, idiot. You have to see it before you sleep."

Jake huffed, "Well that's not very nice" he said, "calling your boyfriend an idiot how rude"

"You're being difficult, that's what's rude."
Carrington said, a smirk on his face as he lightly pinched Jake's cheek."Just come on, I promise you'll love it."

"Fine," Jake kissed Carrington's cheek. "Show me the surprise. Should i close my eyes?"

"You should absolutely close your eyes," Carrington said with a grin.
He got up from the counter and grabbed Jake's hand, gently tugging him.
"No peeking either, got it?"

Jake covered his eyes and laughed nervously. "Ok what is it??" As he is being guided to the room.

Carrington laughed at Jake's nervousness, finding it endearing. He continued to guide him, slowly walking him to the room.
"Be patient, babe. We're almost there."

Jake gets guided inside. Carrington shuts the door once they both enter inside. Jake asked, "Can i look now?"

"Mhm," Carrington hummed, nodding.
He stood behind Jake, his hands resting on his shoulders as he waited for him to remove his hands from his eyes.

Jake slowly uncovered his eyes and opened them. He gasped at the sight. It was a sensory room!

Carrington watched as Jake's eyes widened and his mouth fell open in shock, a satisfied smile on his face."Surprise," he said, squeezing his shoulders gently. "Do you like it?"

Carrington chuckled as he watched Jake's reaction, the excitement and joy radiating off of him. He loved seeing his boyfriend happy and stimming like this, especially since it was because of the surprise.

Carrington couldn't help but smile wider as Jake flapped his hands and jumped around excitedly, his stimming only getting more intense. He felt his heart swell with love and affection for his adorable boyfriend.

"You actually did this?!" Jake screamed as he is jumping around and looking at all the stuff in the sensory room.

"Of course I did," Carrington said, watching Jake with a fond expression. "I know how much you love sensory stuff, so I wanted to make a room just for you."

He couldn't take his eyes off of Jake, admiring how happy he was and how happy he looked while stimming.

After a while, Jake's excitement and stimming died down, and he settled down in the sensory room. He was now cuddled up in Carrington's lap, his head resting against his chest as they both relaxed.

The sensory room had a calm and cozy atmosphere. The fairy lights strung across the ceiling provided a soft, warm glow, while the weighted blanket and stuffed animals made it feel even more comfortable. The fidget toys and other sensory items scattered around the room added a playful and interactive element to the space.

Jake is hugging a stuffed animal while fidgeting with a fidget toy in his hands. Looking up at Carrington with a wide smile across his face.

Carrington wrapped his arms around Jake, holding him close as he looked down at him with a smile. He chuckled as he noticed him hugging the stuffed animal and playing with the fidget toy.

"Looks like someone's having fun," he teased, gently running his fingers through Jake's hair.

"i cant believe you did this for me, you're so nice babe" Jake pouted and kissed Carrington's cheek.

Carrington chuckled again and leaned into the kiss, feeling his heart flutter at Jake's words.

"Of course I did it for you, silly," he said, his fingers still playing with Jake's hair. "I love you, and I want you to be happy and comfortable. Especially after how stressed you've been lately."

The two of them laid on the floor of the sensory room, surrounded by the weighted blanket and stuffed animals.

They were cuddled up close together, their limbs tangled together as they shared gentle kisses and affectionate touches.

Exhaustion soon took over, and they slowly drifted off to sleep, wrapped in each other's arms and feeling safe and loved.
