[ Carrington is homosexual and in a romantic relationship with Chase and has been all throughout high school, yet his friend Jake has no idea ! Now graduated and out of school, Carrington finally comes out to his friend! ^_^ ]

"Yo, Jake!" Carrington called as he entered the house. Chase coming in with him.

The two have been secretly dating since highschool and now feel like it's time to tell Jake of their secret relationship.

Carrington felt extremely nervous to tell his highschool best friend about this, but he felt like he shouldn't hide his sexual orientation no longer and that his friend deserves to know.

"Hey, you two. What's up?" Jake said, looking over his shoulder at them. He was sitting at the kitchen table, sipping on a glass of water.

"Hey, how you've been?" Chase asked, walking into the kitchen with Carrington. The two take a seat at the table too.

"I've been good, man."
Jake asked, looking between the two of them with a small smile.

"That's good, I've been alright too." Chase replied. Carrington gave a anxious look towards Chase, and Chase gave an reassuring look in return.

"You two seem a little... tense. Is everything okay?"

Jake said, noticing the looks they were giving each other. He set his glass down on the table, giving them his full attention.

Carrington takes a deep breath, nodding his head. Clamping his mouth shut. Chase replied, "We uh,- have something to actually tell you..."

Jake raised an eyebrow, a hint of concern in his eyes. "Okay... you're making me nervous, man. What is it?"

Carrington clears his throat. "Remember when we we're in highschool and i was constantly being bullied and called gay and stuff..?"

Jake nodded, his expression growing more serious. "Yeah, I remember. Those guys were real jerks to you..."

Chase placed a comforting hand on Carrington's shoulder. Giving his boyfriend a look of reassurance.

Carrington takes a deep breath. "Well, half of that is true... Um, Jake i- i-im.." He began to stumble on his words.

Jake leaned forward slightly, listening intently. He could tell that whatever Carrington was about to say was difficult for him. "It's okay, man. Take your time. You can tell me anything."

Carrington shuts his eyes tightly, "Im gay!" He announced to the silence of the kitchen. His heart was racing once his secret was finally out in the open.

Jake's eyes widened slightly in surprise, but he quickly composed himself. He smiled warmly at Carrington, reaching across the table to place a comforting hand on his friend's arm. "Hey, it's okay. Thanks for telling me, man. I appreciate your trust in me."

Carrington's eyes open. He teared up a bit, "You're not...? you're-not- disgusted or anything..?"

Chase wrapped an arm around Carrington, "And also, in other news..- I'm dating him."

Jake chuckled softly, shaking his head. "Of course I'm not disgusted, man. Why would I be? I love you no matter who you are or who you love. And I'm happy for you two. You make a cute couple."

Carrington tucks his face into Chase's shoulder. Sniffling.

Chase is rubbing Carrington's shoulder as he talked, "We have been dating since highschool. We came out to our old friends there and then they just kinda hated us, so since then me and Carrington have been keeping our relationship a secret. But, - highschool is over and we decided that it was best to tell you rather than continue keeping it a secret."

Jake nodded, his expression serious. "I understand. I'm glad you guys trusted me enough to tell me. And I'm sorry that your old friends didn't accept you for who you are. But I'm here for you guys, and I'll always support you. I'm proud of you both for being brave enough to come out to me."

Carrington uncovered his face, he was crying. "You really- support us, man?!" He gets up from his chair, crying.

Jake gets up too, opening his arms for a hug. "Of course I do, dude. You're my best friend, and nothing will ever change that. I love you, man."

He hugged Carrington tightly, patting his back comfortingly.

Carrington hugs back, sniffling softly. "I have been hiding this for years, man. I was scared.. but last night, i was talking with Chase and we decided that it was time to tell you.."

Jake pulled back slightly, looking at Carrington with a gentle smile. "I'm glad you guys made that decision. It must have been tough keeping it a secret for so long. But you did it, and now you're free to be yourselves. I'm really proud of you both. And I'm here to listen whenever you need to talk or vent."

"Thanks man," Chase said, getting up and joining the hug. The three hugged for a moment before pulling back. Carrington looked calmer now.

Jake chuckled softly, ruffling Carrington's hair. "Anytime, man. Seriously. I'm always here for you guys. And I'm glad I could be the first person you told. It means a lot to me that you trust me enough to share something so personal with me."

Jake smiled at his friends, feeling grateful for their trust and friendship. "Well, I'm happy for you both. And I hope you guys know that I'll always support you and love you no matter what. If you ever need anything, just let me know, okay?"

Chase and Carrington held hands, nodding towards Jake with smiles.

"okay."
