Today Jake was having a rough day. And he was very overstimulated which caused him to be irritable.

Carrington finally came home from the modeling shoot he went too and Jake looked over immediately when the door opened.

Carrington walked into the house, exhaustion evident on his face. The modeling shoot had taken longer than expected, and he was looking forward to just relaxing and spending time with his boyfriend.

As he closed the door behind him, he saw Jake looking over at him from across the room. He could immediately tell that something was off, judging by the irritated expression on his face.

"Hey, Jake." he said softly, walking over to him. "How was your day?"

"Fine." Jake replied bluntly. He crossed his arm over his chest while the other hand was holding his phone and he was scrolling on social media.

Carrington raised an eyebrow at Jake's curt response, not buying his "fine" for a second. He knew his boyfriend well enough to know that something was bothering him.

He walked over and sat down next to him on the couch, looking at him with concern.
"Babe, I can tell something's wrong," he said gently, trying to get Jake to open up. "You don't have to pretend with me."

"Look it doesn't fuckin' matter, okay?!" Jake yelled in a snapping tone of voice. But he immediately saw the hurt on Carrington's face and felt instantly worse.

Carrington flinched slightly at Jake's outburst, not expecting him to snap at him like that. He had never seen him so angry and irritable before.

He tried to keep his composure, but he couldn't deny that it stung. He took a deep breath, trying to stay calm despite the pain in his chest.

"Hey, don't talk to me like that Jake," he said firmly, his voice tinged with hurt. "I'm just trying to help you."

Jake snapped back, "It doesn't fucking matter, i already told you!" As he stormed off upstairs and slamming his bedroom door ahut.

Carrington was taken aback by the sheer force of Jake's anger as he stormed off and slammed the bedroom door shut. He sat there on the couch for a moment, trying to process what had just happened.

He let out a shaky breath, feeling hurt and confused. He had never seen Jake act like this before, and it scared him a little.

He got up from the couch and slowly made his way upstairs, hesitating for a moment outside the bedroom door before gently knocking.

Jake didn't answer. He felt bad. He felt horrible for snapping at Carrington. But he was just si overstimulated with the day and he just lashed out on his love one. He knows it isn't okay. But the words already happened to be taken out. He didn't think about the consequences until now.

Carrington stood outside the door, his heart aching as he waited for a response. He could hear the faint sounds of Jake moving around inside, but he didn't get any verbal acknowledgment.

He took a deep breath, steeling himself before slowly opening the door and stepping inside. He saw Jake sitting on the bed, looking upset and frustrated.
