Jake and his boyfriend Carrington are sleeping one night in Carrington's bedroom. Jake is snoring away, laying on his back. His hair is a mess from his sleeping as he sleepily mumbled incoherent words.

However his boyfriend Carrington began to feel restless and started to have a nightmare about Jake and it was unsettling to the sleeping brunet male.

Carrington tossed and turned, whimpering quietly in his sleep as his subconscious continued the nightmare. His fingers curled into the blankets as he moved closer to Jake, practically clinging to him.

Jake grunted in his sleep. Since he felt Carrington clinging onto him. In his sleep he pushed him a little bit away, not even knowing that his boyfriend is suffering from a nightmare.

The light shove was enough to make Carrington's eyes snap open, tears in the corners of them. He took a sharp inhale of air as he looked over at Jake.

The sight of his boyfriend made his chest tighten, the nightmare fresh in his mind. He moved closer again, curling into Jake's side with his face buried in his chest.

Jake hums in his sleep, muttering. "What..?" In his raspy sleepy voice, eyes remained shut. He is half awake and half asleep.

Carrington let out a quiet whimper as he heard Jake speak, his voice low and groggy from sleep. He snuggled closer, holding onto his boyfriend's shirt with a shaky grip. He was desperate for the reassurance of Jake's touch, his body still trembling slightly from the nightmare.

"Cold? grab 'em.." Jake sleepily talked as he pushed a bit of the blanket to Carrington and then rolled over, snoring.

Carrington's heart sank a little when Jake rolled over, but he was grateful for the extra blanket. He quickly pulled it over himself, burying himself in the soft material. However, he still felt lonely and in need of his boyfriend's touch.

Without thinking, he reached out and gently grabbed Jake's arm, trying to pull him closer.

Jake eventually opened his eyes from feeling the touch. "Babe, what?" He sleepily talked, as he shifted a bit.

Carrington looked up at him, his eyes still filled with a hint of tears. He pulled on his arm again, a silent plea for him to come closer."Hold me.."

Jake shifted and rolled over again. Facing Carrington. His eyes opened as he noticed Carrington's tears. He immediately sat up. His eyebrows furrowing together.

Carrington sat up as well, quickly wiping away the tears that threatened to fall. He hated that Jake was seeing him like this, but he was desperate for comfort.

He scooted closer to Jake, leaning his head against his shoulder. His body was still trembling slightly from the nightmare, and he took a shaky breath as he looked up at his boyfriend with watery eyes.

"Wh-" Jake rubbed an eye as he continues to speak, "What's wrong, Carrington? Why are you crying babe?"

Carrington let out a shaky exhale as he nuzzled his face into the crook of Jake's neck. He was trying to hold back the tears, but they threatened to fall with each word.

"I-I had a nightmare.."
He whispered, his voice breaking as he spoke. He hated how vulnerable he sounded, but he couldn't hide the fear that lingered in his mind.

"What happened in it?" Jake asked as he laid back down. Looking up at Carrington with worry in his eyes. "Tell me everything. Don't leave out any details. Let me know the story."
