Carrington is possessive over Jake at a party  (*´ω`*)

cw: sm0king, possessiveness
~•~

Jake was sitting at the bar area of the party. Downing a shot. He has no idea where is friend Carrington went, but just assumed he was hanging out with some other friends.

At this moment, Jake had girls sworming him. They're flirting and complimenting his style and such, his red hair, his outfit, etc etc.

Jake just thought they were being nice, and he was kindly talking with them. A bit uncomfortable over how big the crowd was, the flirting was going directly over his head.

Carrington stood across the room, leaning against the wall. His arms were crossed as he watched Jake but he was definitely annoyed by all the girls. He was *his*, not theirs. He was his, not theirs.

They had no right to flirt with him. He didn’t even care if Jake didn’t notice the flirting, he was still annoyed.

"Oh, uh– Thanks." Jake said as a woman paid for a drink for him. He grasped the glass, taking a swig. He had no idea who these women are, but he is being as nice as possible to them.

Which isn't a surprise, he's always nice and respectful towards people, even strangers. Even if they made him uncomfortable.

Carrington watched as the women continued to surround him, buying him drinks and talking to him. He clenched his jaw, his annoyance growing. He knew he shouldn’t feel jealous, but he couldn’t help it. He wanted to be the one standing next to him, buying him drinks and talking to him. But instead, he was standing on the other side of the room, watching from afar.

That's when a wave of possessiveness rises out of Carrington when a woman set her hand on Jake's leg.

Carrington’s eyes widened as he saw the woman’s hand on Jake’s leg. That was it. He couldn’t take it anymore. He pushed himself off the wall and began to make his way towards Jake, his annoyance now mixed with a hint of anger.

Jake just smiled, trying to hide his uncomfortableness with a smile. The rest of the women left except the one that has her hand on his leg.

Carrington finally reached Jake, his eyes locked on the woman’s hand. He couldn’t believe she was still touching him. Without saying a word, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her hand away from Jake’s leg.

The woman scoffed, "Excuse me?!" She shouted, obviously drunk. Jake said, "Oh sorry about that. He's probably just drunk too, he didn't mean to be so harsh with it."

Carrington looked at Jake, his eyes narrowing. “She was touching you,” he said, his grip on the woman’s wrist tightening slightly.

Jake gave Carrington, 'THE LOOK' as he watched him let go of her wrist.

Carrington saw Jake’s look and sighed. He knew that look all too well. It meant that he was in trouble. He turned to the woman and muttered an apology before turning back to Jake.

"Ugh, asshole!" The woman splashed her drink on Carrington and walked away to her friends.

Carrington’s eyes widened as the woman splashed her drink on him. He looked down at his now-soaked shirt and sighed again. “Great,” he muttered under his breath. He turned back to Jake, trying to keep his annoyance in check.
