Jake and his boyfriend Carrington are cuddling together in bed. It is late at night. And it was starting to rain outside. The rain was hitting the window panes.

Carrington was lying on his back in bed, with his boyfriend, Jake, snuggled up against his chest.

He had one arm wrapped around Jake, holding him close as he absentmindedly ran his fingers through his hair.

He glanced out the window, noticing the rain starting to come down harder outside. The sound of the raindrops hitting the window was oddly soothing to him, and he let out a content sigh as he looked down at Jake, admiring his boyfriend's features in the soft light of the room.

"I can't sleep," Jake spoke up as he looked out the window. Watching the raindrops trickle down the windowpanes.

Carrington chuckled softly, continuing to run his fingers through Jake's hair as he listened to him speak. He looked down at him, noticing the way he was staring out the window.

"Is it the rain keeping you up, love?"
He asked, a small smirk on his face as he teased him gently.

"I think so. I don't know. The rain is a nice sound." Jake replied. The sound of the rain was calming to say the least.

It made the inside of the house more cozier and comfortable. Jake pulled the weighted blanket up closer to himself and his boyfriend.

Carrington chuckled again as Jake pulled the weighted blanket up, feeling the comforting weight of it settle over them. He pulled him closer, holding him tighter against his chest as he continued to play with his hair.

"Yeah, it is a nice sound. It's almost... soothing, in a way."
He replied, a hint of sleepiness in his voice. The sound of the rain combined with the warmth of the blanket and the presence of his boyfriend was starting to make him feel sleepy as well.

Jake yawned. "It is soothing." He said, his voice sounded a bit funny since he yawned mid-sentence. He rubbed an eye and sat up.

Carrington smiled as Jake yawned, finding it cute how his voice sounded a bit funny after he did so. He watched as he sat up, his eyes still a bit sleepy but now filled with curiosity as he rubbed his eye.

"You tired, love?"
He asked, sitting up as well and wrapping his arms around his waist from behind, pulling him back against his chest.

"Yes" Jake replied as he looked out the window. Laying back in the warmth of the blankets with his boyfriend.

Carrington chuckled again as Jake confirmed that he was tired, amused by how adorable his boyfriend was being.

He held Jake close, resting his chin on his shoulder as they both looked out the window at the rain.

"Then why don't you close your eyes and try to sleep, hm?"He suggested, gently running his hands up and down Jake's arms in a soothing manner.

Jake shakes his head. "Can't. Just wanna talk to you." He glanced up, his brown eyes showed evident sleepiness.

Carrington raised an eyebrow at Jake's response, his smirk growing slightly as he noticed the sleepiness in his eyes.

"You're just trying to keep me up, aren't you?"He teased, gently flicking his nose.

"Ouch" Jake pouted. "Noo." As he glanced out the window. "Surpised its raining. It rarely rains here."

Carrington chuckled at Jake's pout, finding it adorable how easily he could rile him up."Yeah, it's been a while since we've had rain like this. But it's nice, don't you think?"
