Jake is severely dehydrated. And Carrington knows it. And by the severity, It was obvious that Jake will need to go to the hospital to get some fluids.

Carrington had noticed the signs of dehydration in Jake, and he knew it was bad. The dry skin, the headaches, the dizziness... all of it pointed to a severe case.

He was worried for his boyfriend, and he knew that hospitalization was the best course of action. But he also knew how stubborn Jake could be, and getting him to go to the hospital would be a challenge.

Jake is sitting on the couch. Holding his head and groaning. Before he lifted his head when he noticed his boyfriend Carrington enter the living room.

Carrington entered the living room, his heart sinking at the sight of Jake looking so unwell. He approached him slowly, concern etched on his face.“Hey,” he said softly, sitting down beside him on the couch. “How are you feeling?”

"i dont know. Why is this happening?" Jake asked as he rubbed his forehead. "I'm still drinking." He said, but he needed water. Not just monster energy drinks and alcohol.

Carrington sighed and shook his head, his concern deepening.“I know you are, but it’s not enough,” he said gently. “You’re severely dehydrated, Jake. You need more than just energy drinks and alcohol.”

Jake huffed, "but its still a liquid!" As he flopped his hands on the couch and sighed. Before he noticed Carrington taking out his phone. "What are you doing...?"

Carrington looked at him with a stern expression, holding up his phone.
“I’m calling an ambulance,” he said firmly. “You need fluids through an IV, and you’re in no condition to drive to the hospital.”

Jake's eyes widen. "Wh–.. what? Why? It's not that bad. I really don't want to make a big fuckin deal about it.."

Carrington’s expression hardened further as he looked at Jake, his frustration growing.
“Yes, it is that bad,” he said firmly. “You’re practically collapsing from dehydration, and I’m not taking any chances with your health. This is a big deal, Jake, and you need to get it through your head that it’s necessary.”

Jake sighed as he watches Carrington talk to the operator and report the emergency. "Carrington,–" he tried speaking but Carrington wasn't listening.

Carrington continued to talk to the operator, his focus solely on getting help for Jake. He ignored Jake’s attempts to speak, his determination set.

“Yes, he’s severely dehydrated,” he said into the phone. “He’s been complaining of headaches and dizziness, and he’s been showing other signs of dehydration as well.”

Carrington was told an ambulance will be right over and the call has officially ended. Jake sighed as his hands began to shake.

Carrington set his phone down and turned his attention back to Jake, noticing the shaking in his hands. He reached out and gently took one of his hands in his own, giving it a reassuring squeeze.

“It’s going to be okay,” he said softly, his thumb tracing soothing circles on the back of Jake’s hand. “They’ll get you the fluids you need, and you’ll feel better soon.”

"But is this really necessary?" Jake huffed as he sits up slowly. Picking up his sensory slug fidget from the coffee table in front of the couch.

Carrington sighed, watching as Jake sat up and reached for his sensory slug fidget. He knew his boyfriend’s aversion to hospitals, but he couldn’t risk his health any longer.
