Jake has been avoiding Carrington all day. Today was the day he was going to tell his crush (Carrington) how he feels, but he started to back out.

Now he is hiding in his room, trying to figure out if Carrington really feels this way too or if he's gonna say something wrong to him. Feelings are complicated. And it all started to tangle into a mess.

Carrington had noticed that Jake had been avoiding him all day. He tried to brush it off at first, thinking that maybe he was just busy or preoccupied with something else.

But as the day wore on and Jake continued to avoid him, he started to get worried.

He knew that something was bothering Jake, but he couldn't quite put his finger on what it was. He had tried to catch him alone several times,

but Jake had managed to slip away each time, leaving Carrington feeling frustrated and confused.

finally, he decided to take matters into his own hands.

He walked up to Jake's door and knocked softly, his heart pounding in his chest as he waited for a response.

Jake heard the knock but he didn't answer. He was on the verge of a meltdown since he couldn't decipher these feelings. He is grabbing at his hair and sitting on the floor. Staring at the floor with his knees tucked in, letting out frustrated sounds.

Carrington heard the frustrated sounds coming from behind the door, and his concern grew even more.

He knew that something was definitely wrong, and he wasn't going to let Jake suffer alone.

He gently pushed the door open and peeked inside, his eyes immediately falling on Jake sitting on the floor, grabbing at his hair and looking absolutely distressed.

He stepped into the room, closing the door behind him and making his way over to Jake."Hey," he said softly, crouching down in front of him. "What's going on?"

Jake got startled when his roommate entered the room. He stared up at Carrington with wide brown eyes. He suppressed his meltdown and shakes his head.

Carrington's heart ached at the sight of Jake's wide, panicked eyes. He could see the turmoil and anxiety written all over his face, and it was clear that something was seriously wrong.

He reached out and gently took Jake's hands, trying to soothe him and calm him down.

"Hey, it's okay," he said softly, rubbing his thumbs over the backs of Jake's hands. "You don't have to talk if you don't want to. But I'm here for you, okay?"

However Jake's meltdown increased. He pulled his hands back and digged his nails into his palms of his hands. He shakes his head and his voice sounded overstimulated as he spoke. "no, no, no, NO! it's not okay right now! It- it- no! It's not! No it's not! I'm not okay right now! And you being in here- NO?!"

Carrington's heart dropped as he saw the meltdown get worse. He felt a pang of guilt for entering the room without permission, but he couldn't just leave Jake alone when he was clearly in distress.
