Jake is sitting on the couch. Waiting for his boyfriend, Carrington to come home. He was told by Carrington that he will be home at 3:45PM.

However it is now 4:24PM and he is wondering where Carrington is. Since he remembers that Carrington was supposed to be home at exactly 3:45PM.

Carrington finally got home at 4:25. He was a bit late, but not too late.

He walked through the door, shutting it behind him before he set his keys on the table by the door.

He took off his jacket and hung it up on the coat rack before he walked over to the living room."Hey babe," he said as he came into view, seeing Jake sitting on the couch.

Jake was scrolling and typing on his phone before he lifted his head. "Hi! Where were you? You said that you'll be back at the house at 3:45, it is past that and you came home at," he paused and looked at the small clock on his phone in the corner. "4:27."

"I know, I know," Carrington said, walking over to the couch and sitting down next to him.He put an arm around his shoulders, pulling him closer. "Traffic was terrible today."

Jake huffed, taking this literal. "But that's what you told me, and so i came downstairs from my room after editing my video around 3:30 so i can expect to see you at 3:45."

Carrington chuckled, leaning his head on top of Jake's."I said I was gonna try and get home at 3:45, babe. You know how traffic can be sometimes," he said, rubbing his shoulder.

"Yeah but that's what you told me," Jake replied as he glanced up at Carrington with his brown eyes. "So now everything is shifted because i was gonna order us some dinner when you got home."

Carrington let out a dramatic gasp.
"You were gonna order us food without me?" he asked, pretending to be hurt by his words.

It went over Jake's head. "No, honey. I was gonna order food at 3:45 because that's when i was expecting on seeing you coming home. But when i didn't see you come through the door, i just spent my waiting time for you on the couch scrolling and getting worried because you didn't come home at the certain time that you told me. But now that you're home we can order food."

Carrington sighed, shaking his head. "I was just teasing you, babe. But if you're that hungry then I guess we can order something."He leaned back against the couch, his arm still around Jake.

"Oh" Jake blinked. Before he face palmed. "Sorry," as he moved his hand and opened his Uber Eats app. "What do you want to eat tonight?"

"It's alright," Carrington said, laughing softly.
"I don't really care what we get, as long as it's not pizza," he said, leaning his head against the back of the couch.

Jake pouted, "Aww. But pizza sounds good." He replied, even though he has been ordering pizza for dinner for almost the entire week. Even the same restaurant of pizza.

"We've had pizza almost every day this week, babe," Carrington said, raising an eyebrow."And I don't know about you, but I'm tired of pizza. I want something else for once," he said, sticking his tongue out at him.

Jake scoffed softly. "Fine. Something else. What do you want then?" He asked as he scrolled on the app at the restaurant options.

Carrington thought for a moment before he replied."I don't know. Maybe Chinese food? Or Mexican?" he said, shrugging. "Just something other than pizza, please."

Jake looked up at Carrington. "What do you want?" He asked directly and poked his cheek. "I want you to make the decision and so that way you're happy with the choice you made so that way you don't regret it later."
