[ here's some wholesomeness for you ^_^ ]
Jake couldn't help but look over at Carrington. His brown eyes full of hushed love for his roommate that is sitting on the couch next to him.
Carrington felt Jake's gaze on him, and he turned his head to meet his eyes. He saw the love and admiration in them, and it sent a shiver down his spine. He knew that look well, having seen it countless times before. It was a look that spoke volumes, conveying feelings that words couldn't capture.
He smiled softly, his heart skipping a beat as he realized how deeply in love he was with Jake.
He loved everything about him - his beautiful brown eyes, his messy hair, the way he fidgeted with his hands when he was nervous or excited, the way he looked at him with such intensity.
However it didn't last long - Since Jake shifted his gaze and looked away. He wanted to use his voice and tell Carrington how he feels, but his eyes were simply telling the obvious.
Carrington couldn't help but feel a pang of disappointment as Jake shifted his gaze away, the intensity of the moment suddenly broken. He missed the connection they had just shared, the silent communication between their eyes.
He wanted to reach out and touch Jake, to pull him close and tell him that he understood. But he held back, not wanting to push too hard or risk making things awkward between them.
Instead, he turned his attention back to the TV, trying to distract himself from the ache in his chest.
Jake is also having his eyes onto the TV screen. His leg bouncing as he is having his beautiful brown eyes locked onto the screen in front of them. Not really taking in the process of understanding what was happening on the show, since his mind is thinking about his roommate next to him.
As Jake's leg bounced up and down, his mind was clearly elsewhere. He was lost in his thoughts, not even paying attention to the show playing on the TV. Instead, his focus was solely on Carrington, sitting just inches away from him on the couch.
Carrington noticed Jake's restlessness and absentmindedness, and he couldn't help but wonder what was going on in his head. He knew that look all too well - the look of someone with something on their mind, something they wanted to say but were hesitating to speak up.
Jake bit his bottom lip. Fidgeting with the snake bites that are pierced there in place as he is using his teeth and tongue to flick the metal.
Carrington couldn't help but notice the way Jake was biting his lip and fidgeting with his snake bites. He knew that it was a habit of his, one that he had grown fond of over the months they had lived together.
The sight of Jake's tongue flicking against the metal was both distracting and alluring, and Carrington found himself watching intently, his own breath catching in his throat.
Jake felt a gaze. His brown eyes looked over. Noticing the bright blue eyes looking at him. He curled his lips into a little smile before looking away. He couldn't maintain the eye contact. He was too nervous too.
Carrington's heart skipped a beat as Jake looked over and met his gaze, only to quickly look away again. He could see the nervousness in his eyes, and it only made him more curious about what was going on in his head.
He couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement in his chest at the sight of Jake's little smile. It was small and shy, but it was there, and it sent a shiver down Carrington's spine.
He wanted to say something, to break the silence and ease the tension between them. But he held back, unsure of how to proceed without scaring Jake off.
