[ Jake and Carrington dance in the rain as a couple <3 ]

The rain is pouring harshly against the windowpanes this early morning. The clock reads 7:30AM - and Jake just woke up. He came down the stairs and immediately noticed it was raining outside.

As he is making his decaf coffee and making sure to add his usual packets of 5 stevia inside of his mug. He notices his boyfriend Carrington coming downstairs.

Carrington was still in his pajamas, which consisted of a pair of shorts and a loose shirt. He yawned as he walked over to the kitchen, rubbing his eyes."Good morning," he mumbled, his voice still laced with sleep.

"Good morning, honey." Jake greeted. Holding the mug in his hands as he takes a sip of his morning drink. Before he sets it down on the kitchen counter.

He walked over and wrapped his arms around Carrington's neck, leaning close and breathing in his boyfriend's scent.

Carrington smiled as Jake wrapped his arms around him, enjoying the feeling of being held close. He placed his hands on Jake's hips, pulling him even closer."You're so warm," he murmured, nuzzling his face into Jake's neck.

Jake smiled brightly at this as he lightly scratches the back of Carrington's head. Before he walked away and picked up his mug, drinking his decaffeinated coffee.

Carrington followed Jake to the kitchen counter, watching as he drank his coffee. He leaned against the counter, his eyes never leaving his boyfriend.

"Why do you always have decaf in the morning?" he asked curiously, tilting his head to the side.

"Not every morning. Most of the mornings." Jake corrected, setting his mug in the sink when he finished. "Sometimes i have a smoothie or just a Monster."

Carrington chuckled at Jake's response, shaking his head slightly. "A smoothie and a Monster don't count as a proper breakfast, babe," he teased, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Shuduppp," Jake replied, giggling a bit as he went over. He wraped his arms around Carrington's neck again. "How'd you sleep?"

Carrington chuckled again, wrapping his arms around Jake's waist. "I slept alright," he replied, leaning in to give Jake a gentle kiss on the forehead. "What about you? Did you have any weird dreams?"

"No, I don't even remember my dream." Jake replied with a shrug as he smiled when he felt the kiss.

Then he walked over to the window, looking outside of it. Admiring the cloudy weather and rainy skies.

Carrington followed Jake over to the window, standing behind him and resting his chin on his shoulder.

He watched the raindrops fall against the glass, feeling the cool breeze from the open window."It's going to be a lazy day, huh?" he said, his arms still wrapped around Jake's waist.

"Mm, lazy days bore me. We can do something fun!" Jake beamed as he tilted his head back. "Let's get dressed and go out there!"

Carrington raised an eyebrow, a smirk forming on his face. "You want to go out in the rain?" he asked, amused by Jake's enthusiasm. "Are you sure you're not going to get all grumpy and cold?"

"Oh, i just got better from being sick but trust me it'll be fun!" Jake beamed as he ran towards the stairs. "I'm gonna get dressed!" As he ran to his room.

Carrington chuckled as he watched Jake run off, shaking his head in amusement. He followed him up the stairs, heading to his own bedroom.

"Alright, alright," he called out after him. "I'll get dressed too. But don't say I didn't warn you when you start complaining about being cold and wet!"
