Carrington and Jake are bickering as they're going upstairs. They don't even remember what the couple began arguing about but it just stirred more and more.

"You're so annoying, I swear-"
Jake muttered as he kept walking up the stairs, his footsteps louder than usual.

Carrington chuckled, a smirk on his face as he followed closely behind.

"Says you Jake," he retorted. "You're the most annoying person in this house, dude."He rolled his eyes, his hands tucked in his pockets."Besides, you're the one that started it in the first place," he said, continuing to argue.

Jake felt his heartache. He scoffed. "Unforgivable." As he walked down the hallway. Trying to avoid his boyfriend Carrington.

Carrington watched as Jake walked off, a look of disbelief on his face."Are you seriously mad?" He called out, his footsteps following after him.

He couldn't believe how ridiculous Jake was being! Why was he being so dramatic?

Jake slammed the door on Carrington's face. Holding tears back. That's when Carrington began bickering and raising his voice.

Carrington scoffed as the door was slammed in his face, his expression quickly turning into annoyance.

"Open the damn door," he demanded, banging his fist against it. "Don't ignore me!"

Jake teared up more. He sits on the floor and covers his ears. "Don't.. don't yell." That's when Carrington remembered what happened last time. Carrington's heart immediately ached.

Carrington froze when he heard Jake's words. Shit. He quickly stopped banging on the door and cursed himself mentally.

He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. He was pissed, but he didn't want to hurt Jake. Especially not after what happened last time.

He leaned his forehead against the door, his hand resting on the handle.

Jake heard the door open. He lifted his head, flapping his hands and hyperventilating. It was clear that he was on the verge of a meltdown, and thats what happened last time.

Carrington's heart sank as he saw the state Jake was in. He knew he messed up.

He slowly approached Jake, kneeling down in front of him. He reached out to touch him but stopped himself, remembering how much worse it made it last time.

"Hey, hey..." he said gently, trying to keep his voice soft. "Jake, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell..."

Jake shakes his head, "We- we fought again,- you promised me no more!" As he looked at Carrington with a heartbroken expression.

Carrington winced at Jake's words, the guilt washing over him like a tidal wave.

He hated himself for breaking that promise. He knew how important it was to Jake, and yet he still did it.

"I know, I know..." he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'm so sorry, baby. I didn't mean to break my promise, I really didn't..."

Jake was clearly having a panic attack since he was on the verge of a meltdown but wasn't quite there.
