Jake is fidgeting with his dice necklace as he is seated on the movieroom couch, with Carrington next to him. His eyes are glued to the screen as he has a sleepy look inside of his eyes. A few blankets are draped over him.

Carrington snickered, watching as Jake was clearly fighting sleep. He took this as a good time to annoy him a bit, he found it adorable when Jake was tired.

Jake felt Carrington poke his cheek. He hums sleepily as he is still watching the movie.

Meanwhile Carrington was scrolling and watching at the same time. And decided to put his phone down.

Carrington chuckled again, this time it was more of a deep, rumbling sound. He continued to hold Jake close, using his other hand to gently poke at his cheek again, watching as the other man just hummed in response.

Jake snuggled up more into the blankets. Watching the movie with a sleepy gaze. Occasionally he would glance at Carrington.

Carrington couldn't help but smirk as he watched Jake snuggle into the blankets. He thought it was cute how he kept looking at him every now and then, and if he wasn't careful, he'd end up getting flustered too.

But he tried to keep his cool, focusing on the movie while also stealing glances at Jake from time to time.

Jake glanced at him and asked tiredly, "what time is it?" Before his sleepy eyes look away and back at the screen. He always got tired and tend to fall asleep during movies, so this wasn't a shocker.

Carrington looked down at his phone to check the time. He couldn't help but smile as he heard the tiredness in Jake's voice. He knew he was tired and it made him want to hold him even closer.

"Almost midnight," he answered, gently rubbing Jake's shoulder with his thumb. "You should get some rest, Jake."

Jake felt his heart race when Carrington is rubbing his shoulder. He laughed it off and said, "Nah, it's okay. I want to stay up so we can watch movies and hang out tonight. Johnnie went out to Grace's, so it's just us here and i just been kinda like," he shrugged, "Out of it? I guess. I don't know how to explain it."

Carrington chuckled at Jake's attempt to brush off the way his heart was racing.

"You sure? You're already half asleep, sweetheart," he teased, still rubbing his shoulder.

He noticed the way Jake shrugged and he tilted his head."What do you mean you've been out of it?" He asked, concern creeping into his voice.

Jake looked down at his hands before saying. "Like, alone lately. You've been busy with modeling shoots and Johnnie has been hanging out with Grace. So i kinda been alone in the house lately."

Carrington's expression softened as he heard Jake's explanation. He had no idea that Jake felt like this, he had been so busy with work that he hadn't really spent time with him.

He gently cupped Jake's cheek, making him look up at him."I'm sorry,," he said sincerely. "I didn't know you were feeling lonely. I promise I'll try to make more time for you."

"Oh uh-" Jake blushed a bit at the sudden touch. "It's okay- i mean- it doesn't bother me- um that much. I've been kinda use to it to be honest. I'm not as social as you think, Carrington. Before i met our friend Tara i wasn't actually as social and party going as you really think. So I'm just kinda use to being alone and stuff."

Carrington felt a pang of guilt as Jake spoke. He didn't like the thought of him being alone all the time, especially when he knew that he wasn't the most social person in the world.
