It is the middle of the night. The rain is pouring down outside.

And Jake is locked himself in the bathroom, having a panic attack. He doesn't know what even caused the overstimulated feelings, maybe it was something that had been bottling up for a while. He was unsure.

Meanwhile Carrington(Jake's boyfriend), woke up to notice Jake wasn't inside the room with him and now he is feeling worried about where Jake could be.

Carrington stirred in his sleep, his eyes fluttering open as he noticed that Jake wasn't in bed beside him. He blinked a few times, adjusting to the darkness of the room, and then sat up slowly.

He glanced around the room, his heart rate picking up slightly as he realized that Jake was missing. His worry quickly turned into concern, and he threw the covers off himself and swung his legs over the edge of the bed.

He got up and began searching the room, calling out for Jake softly in case he was just in the bathroom or something.

That's when Carrington noticed that the bathroom light was on and he can hear soft sobs and hyperventilating sounds coming from inside. When he tried opening the door, it was locked shut.

Carrington's heart sank as he heard the sounds coming from the bathroom. The realization that Jake was locked inside and crying hit him like a ton of bricks.

He tried the door handle again, jiggling it desperately, but it wouldn't budge. Panic started to set in as he realized that something was very wrong.

"Jake, open the door," he called out, his voice filled with concern and urgency. "Please, sweetheart, let me in."

Jake lifts his head. Hearing the jiggling sounds of the door knob. He dizzily stood up and unlocked the door. He gasps a few times for air as he opened the door before he collapsed onto his knees in front of Carrington while his body is shaking.

Carrington's heart nearly broke as he saw Jake collapse in front of him, his body trembling and gasping for air. He quickly knelt down beside him, wrapping his arms around the male and pulling him close.

"Shhh, I've got you Jake, I've got you," he whispered soothingly, rubbing Jake's back in an attempt to calm him down. "Just breathe, sweetheart. In and out, slowly."

"Don't even know, why.." Jake wheezes out as he is gasping and trying to take deep breaths but failing horribly. He hits his head in frustration as he begins to rock back and forward.

Carrington gently took hold of Jake's wrists, preventing him from hitting his head again."Don't do that, love. You're only going to hurt yourself," he said firmly, yet still gently. "Just focus on breathing, okay? In and out, nice and slow."

He kept one arm wrapped around Jake, holding him close and secure against his chest, while his other hand moved to gently rub soothing circles on Jake's thigh.

Jake huffs in frustration as he gasps again, "Can't do it! Can't- breathe, everything hurts-" he clutched at his rapid heart. It is beating fast against his chest. It is hurting.

Carrington's heart ached at Jake's words, and he could feel the panic rising within him as well.

"Yes, you can, darling. You're doing so well," he encouraged, trying to keep his voice steady despite the worry and fear coursing through him. "Focus on me, okay? Just look at me and try to match your breathing with mine."
