[ wedding day ]

__________________________________________

Today is Jake and Carrington's wedding day. Jake is nervously standing. He knows he has to walk down the aisle but he couldn't help but feel a nervous pit in his stomach.

Carrington stood at the altar, his heart pounding with excitement and anticipation. He was dressed in a sharp black tuxedo, his brown hair neatly styled to perfection. Despite the confident facade he put on, he couldn't help but feel a flutter of nerves in his chest as well.

He watched as Jake nervously stood at the end of the aisle, a mixture of concern and affection washing over him. He knew how anxious his soon-to-be husband could get, especially when it came to big events like this.

The music began and Jake began to walk down the aisle. Wearing a suit and holding a bouquet of roses. His hair all fluffed up and he had a sheepish smile across his face.

Carrington's breath caught in his throat as he watched Jake walk down the aisle, his heart skipping a beat at the sight. The bouquet of roses in his hands made him look even more beautiful, and his sheepish smile only added to his endearing charm.

He couldn't take his eyes off him, his gaze following every step Jake took towards him. He felt a swell of emotions rise up inside him, a mix of love, admiration, and overwhelming happiness.

Jake stood in front of Carrington. He held the flowers in one hand and Carrington's hand in the other. He looked down, looking at their hands with the wedding rings beging applied.

Carrington squeezed Jake's hand gently, his heart full to bursting with emotion. He looked down at their hands, his eyes fixated on the wedding rings that now adorned their fingers.

It was a symbol of their love and commitment to each other, and it filled him with a sense of fulfillment and contentment.

He looked up at Jake, meeting his gaze with a tender smile. "You look stunning," he whispered, his voice filled with adoration.

"Thank you," Jake whispered and that's when the priest began the ceremony.

Carrington listened attentively as the priest began the ceremony, his focus solely on Jake. He held his hand tightly, feeling the warmth and familiarity of his touch.

Every word spoken by the priest only solidified the fact that they were about to take a step forward in their relationship, and it made his heart race with excitement and anticipation.

"Carrington Bornstein, do you take Jake Webber to be your husband?"

Carrington's gaze remained fixed on Jake as the priest asked him the question. He didn't hesitate for a moment, his voice clear and strong as he spoke his answer.

"I do," he said, a soft smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

"Jake Webber, Do you take Carrington Bornstein to be your husband?"

Jake blushed as he nodded at first before he cleared his throat and said, "I do."

Carrington couldn't help but chuckle softly at Jake's initial nod, finding his flustered reaction endearing.

His heart skipped a beat as he heard Jake's clear and confident response, the words filling him with a sense of happiness and joy that was almost overwhelming.

He gently squeezed his hand, a look of pure adoration on his face. He mouthed a silent "I love you" to him, unable to hold back his affection.

"I love you" Jake mouthed back. Then he looked down at the flowers.

Carrington's heart melted at Jake's silent declaration of love, and he felt his own heart swell even more. He couldn't help but smile, his eyes filled with love and admiration for the man standing in front of him.

As Jake looked down at the flowers, Carrington's gaze followed. He gently took the bouquet from his hand, holding it in his other hand so that they could continue holding hands.

"You may kiss the groom,"

Carrington's heart raced with anticipation as the priest declared that they could kiss. He took a step closer to Jake, his hand coming up to cup his cheek gently. He leaned in, his eyes locked onto Jake's, and he captured his lips in a passionate and loving kiss.

Jake returned the kiss and the crowd of family and friends cheered in excitement and adorement.

Carrington poured all of his love and affection into the kiss, his arms wrapping around Jake's waist to pull him closer.

The cheers and applause from the crowd only added to the euphoria of the moment, but Carrington was too lost in the kiss to care about anything else.

He finally broke the kiss, reluctantly pulling away but still holding onto Jake tightly. He rested his forehead against his, a soft and content smile on his face. "Mine," he whispered, his voice filled with
possessiveness and adoration.

"Yours" Jake whispered back before the threw the bouquet to the crowd.

Immediately they heard Grace and Johnnie yell, "MINE!" as they grabbed the flowers in an instant. Making Carrington and Jake laugh.

Carrington laughed as he heard Grace and Johnnie's loud declaration, their voices filled with excitement and eagerness. He watched as they both scrambled to grab the bouquet, clearly not willing to let the other have it.

"Looks like we've got some potential lovebirds in the audience," he chuckled, his arm still wrapped securely around Jake's waist.

As the ceremony came to an end, Carrington and Jake were ushered into a luxurious limousine. They both slid into the back seat, still hand in hand and smiling widely.

Carrington held up the "Just Married" sign that the driver handed to them, holding it out of the window as they drove away from the venue. He watched as the sun began to set, casting a warm and golden glow over everything.

"We did it," he said, turning to look at Jake with a grin. "We're officially married now."

"We are and I'm so happy" Jake beamed as he hugged Carrington's arm and the car drove away with their families and friends waving goodbye.

Carrington wrapped his arm around Jake's shoulders, pulling him closer and relishing in the warmth of his embrace. He leaned his head against Jake's, his heart overflowing with happiness and contentment.

"Me too," he murmured, watching as their loved ones waved goodbye. "I've never been happier in my life."

He planted a gentle kiss on the top of Jake's head, savoring the feeling of finally being married to the man he loved more than anything in the world.
