Jake is sitting on his bed and squishing a sensory toy in his hands. Kneeding the fidget as he noticed the door open and see his boyfriend Carrington enter the room.

Carrington smiled as he entered the room and saw Jake playing with his sensory toy. He walked over to the bed and sat down next to him, wrapping an arm around his shoulders."Hey, babe," he said, pressing a gentle kiss to his temple. "Whatcha doing?"

Jake sets the fidget down. He is twirling his hair as he is talking, "well i was just waiting for you to come home," as he is rocking a bit and twirling his hair with his fingers.

Carrington couldn't help but find Jake's habit of twirling his hair endearing. He pulled him closer, wrapping his arms around him and gently stopping his hands from moving."Sorry I took so long," he said, kissing the top of his head. "Work was crazy today."

"It's okay" Jake replied as he laid his head onto Carrington's chest. "It's okay its okay," he muttered before he looked up at Carrington and smiled.

Carrington chuckled softly as he felt Jake's head on his chest. He ran his fingers through his hair, enjoying the feeling of having him close."You seem a bit... restless," he observed, noticing the way Jake was rocking slightly and muttering to himself. "Is everything okay?"

Jake nodded, pulling his hair a bit. "Ye-yeah, i just was worried for you earlier cuz you didn't come home at the time you said you would"

Carrington frowned slightly as he heard Jake's explanation. He gently grabbed his hands, stopping him from pulling his hair.

"I'm sorry I worried you Jake," he said sincerely. "I know I said I'd be home by 6, but my boss had me working late. I should have called you to let you know."

"Its.okay" Jake nodded as he is rocking a bit, "i just was waiting for you" as he continues to rock back and forward with a warm smile.

Carrington couldn't help but smile at how cute Jake looked while rocking back and forth. He gently squeezed his hands, wanting to reassure him.

"I'm here now Jake," he said softly. "And I'm not going anywhere. You don't have to worry about me, okay?"

"Okay Carrington" Jake nodded.

Carrington pulled Jake closer, wrapping his arms around him in a tight hug. He held him close, rubbing soothing circles on his back.

"I love you," he whispered, pressing a kiss to the top of his head. "I'm sorry I made you worry. I'll try to be more careful in the future."

Jake felt the comforting pressure and felt more at ease. He hits at his(Carrington's )arm for a moment before he returned the hug that Carrington gave to him. "Its okay!!"

Carrington chuckled as he felt Jake hit his arm. He knew it was just his way of expressing affection."Hey, don't hit me," he teased, giving him a playful squeeze. "I thought we agreed on no violence in this relationship."

"oh shit sorry," Jake laughed sheepishly, hitting his own arm for a moment before he pulled away from the hug.

Carrington laughed at Jake's reaction, finding his sheepishness adorable.
"It's okay, babe," he said, ruffling his hair affectionately. "I know you didn't mean it. Just no more hitting, alright?"

"Mhm" Jake hums, as he is shifting his gaze around the room. Rubbing his hands together and humming happily.

Carrington noticed Jake's fidgeting and humming. He smiled, finding it endearing how restless he could be.
