Part 2 - Chapter 37

37 - Love Me Like You Do

We are still lying on his bed. My head is on his arm while hugging him from the side. I felt his lips on my hair, kissing it. I will always love the feel of his skin on mine. "Hubby, ang lamig." I shivered and he pulled up the covers to help me feel warmer. He held me tighter like he's not able to do it for the last few years.

"I love you." He whispered. My lips formed to a smile. I love you too hubby. "I'm sorry." I gasped when I heard him say it again. He keeps on repeating it through out the day. Like he is really sorry and I'm sure that I feel sincerity from his voice. Iyong mga nangyari sa amin hindi madali. I was devastated, I'm sure he was to. I stayed the whole day in his bed and we just talked about what happened and how we felt. It helped the both if us. We made mistakes and it's better to learn from them together.

Habang iniisa isa ko ang mga nangyari sa akin, hindi ko mapigilan na hindi mapaluha. Inaalo naman niya ako kaya kahit papaano ay nakatulong iyon para mabawasan ang bigat sa dibdib ko. I cried harder when he told me his story. All along, I'm thinking that I'm the only one who is hurting but he was too.

 I don't know if were just too shallow, sensitive or immature. But then I came to realized one thing, we went through all of those things because of the love that we have for each other. That even though were hurting in the process, at the end of the road we will still fall to one another.  We will stay in love no matter what.

I told him to forget the past and just create a new beginning. He looked at me in the eye and promised to love me even when he dies. I shook my head at him, the thought of him dying makes my hearts break into million pieces. Naisip ko na sa araw na mangyayari iyon, susundan ko siya sa langit at pilit ko pa rin siyang hahanapin. Siya lang talaga. He is my soulmate and the only man I will love.

"Baby, stay the night. I want to be with you longer." He held my body tighter. He smells so good as always. 

"Yes hubby ko..." I paused and looked at him "Kung dito na lang kaya ako tumira?" Biro ko sa kanya.

"Sure, I'll kick Jeno out of the house first." He looked serious that it made me pout. "Joke lang. Ikaw naman, masyado kang seryoso. Kawawa naman si Jeno niyan." Napatawa ako.

"Pabayaan mo siya." Hinalikan niya ako ng madiin sa labi na ikinagulat ko. Bahagya ko siyang tinulak para pigilan dahil hindi na ako makahinga. Magsasalita pa sana ako nang biglang marinig ko ang pagbukas ang pintuan ng kwarto. 

"Hay! Ano ba 'yan Kuya!" Tinakpan niya ang isa niyang mata gamit ang kanyang kamay ngunit bukas pa rin ang isa at malayang nakasilip. "Pinapunta ko si Ate dito para palabasin ka sa kweba mo. Akala ko kasi naging ermatanyo ka na eh. Gusto mo lang palang maka score. Pambihira naman! dapat hindi ko na siya tinawagan. Ways ways din eh noh!" Nagkakamot na ulong reklamo niya.

"Fuck you! Get out! Pakialamero talaga! Sinong may sabing pumasok ka, ha?" Hubby shouted. He got up and sat on the bed.

"Eh nakabukas naman eh. Sana ni lock mo para hindi ka maistorbo." Tinatamad niyang sagot.
