Chapter 1 - Not At All

"Don't worry baby. If you need something, just call us. Akong bahala. Kapag may umaway sayo, I'll beat them to death." Ito na naman si Kuya Tao. Ang war freak niya talaga. Papasok lang naman ako sa school pero kung magbanta akala mo susugod ako sa giyera.

"Kuya naman eh. Hindi na ako bata. Kaya ko na ang sarili ko." I reasoned out.

"I don't care, you're still my little princess." He playfully rolled his eyes at me. I just pouted my lips in return. As if I can go against him.

"Call me during your vacant time, I'll go with you." Utos niya.

Nagkatinginan kami ni kuya Kris mula sa rear view mirror. He gave me a warm and comforting smile. He knows that I'm beyond nervous. It's my first day as a College student. Sino ba naman ang hindi kakabahan kung halos lahat ng tao maririnig mong nagrereklamo sa hirap. This is also a new environment to me.

Kuya Kris is the eldest. He is the smartest one among the three of us. May pagka suplado nga lang siya. Iyong tipong hindi ka niya papansin unless kailangan. Talking so much is not his style.

Kuya Tao is the opposite. He is the happy go lucky one. Lahat yata ng tao ay nakakagaanan niya ng loob pwera na lang kung ang taong iyong ay magtatangkang pumorma o mang-aaway sa kin. It's not hard to guess why I don't have a boyfriend until now.

If my brothers have a biggest thing in common, that would be their famous status. No one will dare question why. They are not just both good looking. Kuya Kris tops in academics while kuya Tao excels in sports.

Girls swoon. They are head over heels. A lot of them are making me their bridge to get closer to my brothers. Some of them are even pretending to be my friends and I hate it.

Bumuga ako ng hangin at sa marahang binuksan yung pinto sa back seat ng sasakyan. Si kuya Kris ang nasa driver's seat habang si kuya Tao ang nasa may shot gun.

Nasa loob pa lang ako ay kita ko na ang mga babaeng nagkukumpulan at nagbubulungan. It doesn't take a genius to guess that they are waiting for my brothers. Their body language gives it. I instantly noticed the way their eyes sparkled when they saw our car driving inside the campus' parking lot. They are all waiting for them like it's a hobby that they are used to do.

Umakbay kaagad sakin si kuya Tao pagkababa namin. I felt his lips on my temple. I can see violent reactions from some girls. Hindi ako magugulat kung may bigla na lang mangbabato ng kamatis sakin dito o kaya naman mananambunot .Based on their death glares, they are still not aware that I'm their sister –not yet.

"Don't mind them." Kuya Kris whispered. I just nodded at him. Hindi ko na tuloy alam kung saan tuloy ako mas kakabahan.

Napapagitnaan nila ako sa paglalakad. I'm trying to just look straight so I won't see other people's faces staring at me. They are creeping me out. It doesn't help that I'm already shaken by the pressure of entering College.
