Chapter 18 - Save Me

"What's with that face?" Kuya Kris asked me with his questioning look. We are eating in a pastry shop with kuya Tao. Napansin niya siguro na kanina pa ako wala sa mood. 

"Hmmm?" Balik ko sa kanya. I can't really concentrate with anything. I can't move on with what happened days ago. It was already what? Three days? This is the longest time that we haven't talk to each other. 

After the fight, Krystal told me that the our varsity team will be out of school for their basketball camp. I was so worried that time because hubby won't even send me any text messages or won't even call me. I'm not used to that. It's been the longest three days of my life. That's the longest time that we're not able to see each other. I don't know what to think.

I know he's really not happy with what happened and I'm such a coward not to contact him right after our fight. I'm scared that he might say something that will hurt me more. It's not that it's his fault because I know that it's really mine, and that makes me really afraid. After a day, I tried calling him but I can't contact his phone. I started to panic. Is he that mad that he won't even answer my calls? 

"Kanina pa lukot sa pagkabusangot ang mukha mo, what happened?"

"Wala naman." Tipid kong sagot at patuloy lang sa pag-inom ng mango shake ko. I'm still trying to act like it was just nothing but I know that they knew me too much that they won't beleive it was just nothing.

"Oh-oh is it your boyfriend ha baby sis?" Kuya Tao butted in.

"How did you know?" Kuya Kris asked him.

"Wala. Napansin ko lang na parang wala yatang sumusundo sa kanya."

"Is that true bunso?" Kuya Kris turned to asked me.

"Uhmmm..." Alangan kong sagot.

I was about to continue but someone walked towards us and started talking.

"Hey Tao honey. You're not answering my calls. Something happened?" May isang babaeng lumapit sa amin at mukhang magkakakilala sila niya kuya. 

"Do I know you?" Masungit na sagot ni kuya. She might be one of his 'girls'. He has this tendency to forget them after their affair. Typical him.
