Addison found Fleurette seated in the living room the next morning, doing something with a backpack.
"Good morning," Fleurette chirpily greeted before she could even try to slink away to the kitchen.
Addison smiled and gave her a nod. "Good morning, Fleurette. Off to work?"
Fleurette nodded. "Yes, but I can't seem to find my charger." She looked at her suspiciously. "Did you have anything to do with it?"
"I don't even know what the charger is for," Addison reasoned.
"Sure, but you know what wires look like, and it's the chunky kind," Fleurette tried to remain serious, but she ended up bursting into laughter. "Oh, girl. I'm just teasing! I know you didn't take my charger. It should be somewhere in here, I'm just double-checking if it's in here."
"Okay," Addison nodded. "I'm running late, still need to get breakfast before class."
"Well, okay, then," Fleurette shrugged. "You go to which uni, you said?"
"Alford."
"Oh, it's that place with a ton of food around. Mind if I join you this time?"
"Uh..." Addison didn't know what to say. "I usually snag a ride with Jordan..."
"No problem, I could follow you guys on your bike, have breakfast, and then we can part ways," Fleurette smiled. "How's that?"
"Uhh..." Addison did not know how to react. "Sure? I'll... I'll tell the rest about this."
Addison quickly ran off to the kitchen and found Jordan with his usual hot cocoa and a smartly-dressed Giuseppe at the water dispenser.
"Guys, Fleurette wants to follow us to Alford for breakfast!" Addison announced. "I didn't know what to say so I just told her sure and ran off."
Everyone looked at her in surprise, especially Giuseppe and Jordan.
"Is she hitching a ride with us? Because I do not have time to drop her off," Giuseppe piped up. "I have morning class."
"So do we," Jordan added. "The same class."
Addison shook her head. "She doesn't want to hitch a ride with us, she wants to follow us on her bike."
"Oh, joy," Jake snorted, having an Itchy-Bun beside the redhead. "You get a free biker show."
Giuseppe perked up at that. "We do? I mean, not that I care, but her bike is pretty awesome."
Jordan shook his head. "Yeah, but I don't know if we can say the same for her." He groaned. "Why do all of the new tenants do this to us?"
"Are you saying that I was annoying as well?" Giuseppe crossed his arms as he regarded the redhead. "Speak up, Giordano."
"Well, it was a little weird to have breakfast with your lecturer at first," Addison piped up. "But not as weird to be living in the same house as him."
Giuseppe sighed. "You're right, I can't even argue with that."
"So..." Jordan frowned slightly. "We're still having breakfast with this Fleurette character?"
Jake smirked. "I dunno, do you have a choice?"
Jordan shoved at Jake's arm. "Just because you don't go to Alford, doesn't mean that you can gloat."
"Yeah, like how long would it take to bundle you into one of our cars and take you with us?" Giuseppe added, shaking his head. "Very bad, Blondie."
"Whoa, no way," Jake shook his head as he backed away. "I ain't spending my morning with that. I'm just gonna have some shawarma from Harvard's cafeteria. It's really good, cheap, and filling."
"Yep," Felicia agreed as she entered the kitchen. "He bought me one of those once and it really was delicious."
The rest exchanged glances, with Addison just being entertained as she filled her flask with tea.
"And how come we don't get shawarma?" Jordan inched closed to the blond. "Some friend you are."
"You have deprived us of having some delicious shawarma!" Giuseppe dramatically said.
Jake ended up leaving the scene.
"Yep, you guys scared him," Felicia smirked as she watched her son leave. She turned back to her tenants. "I see that all of you are bickering like children now. Looks like we are a family."
"And you're the mom," Addison smiled.
Felicia smiled as well. "I guess."
Jake entered the kitchen once again, smiling sheepishly. "I forgot to take my lunchbox."
Jordan moved away from the fridge to give him space and laughed. "I like you made all that buildup of leaving, only to come back for your lunch."
"Fine," Jake sighed. "I'll get you guys some shawarma later."
Giuseppe snorted. "No, no need for that. We were just playing around."
"But that shawarma does sound good..." Jordan piped up. "Maybe we'll just invade you at Harvington. How's that?"
Jake shrugged. "Sounds fine, I guess."
Addison just realised something. "Wait, Jake isn't the only one who has access to the shawarma," she smirked. "My friend Jeff has access to it too."
Jordan smirked. "Maybe we should go bother him too."
"I like that idea," Addison smirked.
"So do I," Jake added.
And then Fleurette entered the chat, making all of them fall silent. "Well, well..." she said. "Is this a secret meeting?"
"We were just talking about food," Giuseppe said. "Uh, you said you wanted to join us for breakfast?"
"Ah," Fleurette smiled. "You don't mind?"
"None of us do," Jordan piped up like he wasn't just groaning at it moments ago. "We would be happy to have you."
Addison's head moved back slightly at the surprise of how he was able to change things so quickly, but then smiled at Fleurette. "Where do you wish to go?"
Giuseppe smirked. "Shawarma."
"They have that in Alford?" Fleurette asked in surprise.
"Nah, I was kidding," Giuseppe chuckled. "Let's go."

If having breakfast with Giuseppe was awkward, then this was worse than that. It was strange how Addison and Jordan didn't even mind Giuseppe's presence at that point as they ate since he looked just as awkward as they did.
If Fleurette was feeling awkward, she didn't show it once as she went on with her hearty lunch of Pizza Land's potato soup in a bread bowl, pizza turnovers, and a large lemon soda. The rest of them opted for warmer drinks like milk or hot cocoa, even Giuseppe despite how he was a coffee person.
"You were the one who made the coffee the other day, right?" Fleurette piped up, addressing Giuseppe. "It was really good, I'm surprised you're not having coffee now. Gonna brew yourself a cup later?"
Giuseppe just nodded, even when that wasn't exactly the plan. The rest of them knew that he was planning to drop by at Sundeer with his flask for his morning cuppa since he was getting a discount for working there. Not that the students didn't get a discount as well, Addison just never bothered since she hardly goes there anyway.
Unless a Jordan situation persists, that is.
"Hmm, okay," Fleurette pouted. "Are you Italian?"
"His name is literally Giuseppe," Jordan piped up, then looked around at the rest. "Sorry, couldn't resist."
Giuseppe sighed and nodded. "Yes, I am Italian."
Fleurette brightened up at that. "That explains your coffee expertise."
"Now that sounds racist," Addison said under her breath, but Jordan still heard her and snorted quietly.
Addison quickly finished her bacon and egg waffle and downed her hot cocoa before getting up, much to the two men's surprise. "I'm done, and I have to go to the toilet. Bye!"
"Hey, at least wait for me!" Jordan blurted out.
"For us!" Giuseppe added, looking just as devastated.
Addison waved at them and busted out of the shop, much to their dismay.
Fleurette smiled at them. "That leaves just us, then."
Jordan squeezed his eyes shut and whimpered like a child, earning a nudge from Giuseppe as a sign to pull himself together. After all, Giuseppe felt like he needed some backup in order to deal with Fleurette.
