Addison went upstairs after a short Galante class and spotted Jeff's room door wide open, with music playing inside. She peeked in to see him unpacking his things and knocked on the door as she stepped in.
Jeff smiled at her. "Hey, Addie."
"All settled down?" Addison asked as she awkwardly stood by the doorway.
"Yep," Jeff opened a bag of toiletries to empty onto the dressed. "This place is really cozy, no wonder you were bragging about it. Has an en-suite bathroom as well."
"And how is Superhero?" Addison smiled. "The dog, I mean."
Jeff chuckled. "Yeah, he's really happy being with his sisters again."
"Aww, that's cute. Just so you know, Felicia is gonna take great care of them."
"Yeah, and I'm glad that I gave those puppies to you. I panicked when I saw those poor things tied up so mercilessly in that tiny plastic bag. I couldn't bring three dogs home since my landlord had an unfriendly mangy dog that would probably eat those poor puppies for breakfast. And I couldn't just leave them like that. Giving them to you seemed like the best option."
Addison smiled. "Yeah, I'm glad you gave them to me as well." Her gaze swept the room a little. "You need any help unpacking?"
Jeff shook his head. "Nope, I'm good. Almost done too." He frowned as he turned to look at her. "Although... did you get to go to the laundrette last week?"
"Darn," Addison groaned. "I forgot with all the Fleurette shenanigans that happened on Friday night."
"Oh, yeah, that incident," Jeff sighed. "Also, is it bad that I don't feel bad for what we did to her?"
Addison shook her head, then shrugged. "I'm not sure. Actually, I kinda feel the same as well."
Jeff gave her a wry smile. "Yeah..."
"But you should know that we didn't do anything bad," Addison quickly said. "Neither of us. We were just defending ourselves."
"She was going to kill us, wasn't she?" Jeff couldn't help but laugh. "Oh, gosh. We really outdid ourselves last night, didn't we?"
Addison couldn't help but chuckle. "Yeah, we really just winged it."
"It was your idea!"
"Your alcohol trick really helped too. You saw that Bunsen, didn't you? It went off like a grenade, I almost didn't get to pull the knob without getting my hand on fire!"
They ended up laughing at what they did the previous night, and spoke a little until Addison dismissed herself to call her family. She told them that Jeff had moved into the room next door, but did not tell them who he really was.
"Apparently, he didn't get home last night and his landlord found out about his dog," Addison explained. "Poor doggy was agitated since his owner did not return. Landlord kicked them both out."
"Oh my gosh, that's horrible!" Madison gasped. "I'm glad he's staying with you guys now."
"How's the dog?" Edgar asked.
Addison chuckled. "Downstairs with his sisters. They're getting along quite good. Jeff already had him neutered a while back during the whole deworming process. Something to do with a neighbour having a female dog or something. Jeff didn't want Superhero, the dog, to give her unnecessary attention."
"Yeah, I remember our neighbour complaining that his dog got impregnated by a stray," Edgar said. "And then he had to put the puppies up for adoption."
"That was cute," Addison chuckled.

It was strange coming downstairs in the morning and seeing Jeff hanging out in the kitchen with Jake and Jordan, the latter even fooling around with him. Even Giuseppe was laughing at their jokes as he filled his bottle at the water cooler. They certainly got along really well and Addison was pleased at the result.
"Oh, hey Addie," Jeff greeted. "Since my work doesn't start until nine, these guys suggested that I join you guys for breakfast. How's that?"
"Great," Addison smiled. "You can get acquainted with our campus."
"I will be joining you as well," Jake smiled, then turned to his mother. "Mom, would you like to come with us?"
Felicia wondered for a moment, then shrugged with a slight smile on her face. "Sure, honey. I'm free for now."

Jeff still continued assuming his identity as tense Superhero, saving countless lives around Spring Valley. But this time, he had a whole team by his side.
"You know, this is actually a lot more fun than going around alone?" Jeff told them through his hidden Bluetooth earpiece. "But I'm still scared that I might be found with my phone."
"It's alright, we will be able to locate you," Jake said. "We have Locate Friends, remember?"
"Yeah, I guess," Jeff said. "Also, this night is pretty tame."
"And that is a bad thing?" Addison frowned.
"Nah, just a boring one." Jeff paused for a moment. "Ooh! Incoming collision. Gotta run!"
There was a distortion in the communications, but they heard Jeff sighing just a few seconds later, followed by some panting and running.
"Guys, where are you?!" Jeff called to them. "I'm running out of juice!"
"Tell us where you are first," Giuseppe said.
Jeff sighed. "No, can't do. I can't be seen getting into a car, remember?"
Addison sighed. "We're parked in the alleyway behind our shop."
"Oh, joy, so near our usual hangout spot," there was a distortion, then the masked Superhero appeared beside Addison. "Should we disturb your friend?"
"Like how you did yesterday?" Addison rolled her eyes as she opened a container of the thick carbonara pasta that Felicia packed for them. "Here, eat this."
Jeff lifted his mask and smirked at her. "Thanks."
"And here's your chocolate chip frappé," Giuseppe handed back a drink. "Jordan's treat."
"Aww, how nice," Jeff grinned and reached over to take a sip. "Mmm. Thanks, guys. This is so much better than sitting around with these chocolate bars that barely give me any energy."
"Yeah, and that's why my mom has agreed to adopt you as well," Jake added. "Seriously, man. You should take more holidays."
"I just did yesterday," Jeff shrugged.
Addison shook her head. "Then what were you doing at the shop during my shift?"
"Just disturbing you."
"I almost called you by name a few times. In front of Fio too!"
Jeff snorted and continued eating his meal in silence.
"Do you want to continue more tonight?" Giuseppe asked.
"Well," Jeff swallowed the last of his pasta and took a long sip of his frappé. "Maybe just a little more."
With that, they were shocked by a sudden flash of light and Jeff was no longer in the car.
Addison shook her head. "There's no stopping him, is there?" She sighed.
Jake chuckled. "Seems like it. You guys wanna hang out at the shop or something? Get a few drinks, hang out with Fio, maybe?"
They agreed to do that and Jake drove out of the alleyway to park in front of the shop. The three of them walked in to see Fiolina crunching on popcorn while the Superhero sat having his frappé at the table.
"Guys, he just appeared," Fiolina whispered to them. "And he's not even buying anything."
The three of them turned to look at the Superhero and were responded by him giving them a wiggly wave.

This book is finally over! Took me five years to complete it. Very long, I know. But it was fun! By the way, some extras in the Superhero's point of view will be released soon!
