Addison didn't receive a reply from Jake so she decided to set off into the night despite Fiolina's plea to let her drop her off.
"I can close the shop for a while, we won't take ten minutes," Fiolina insisted. "Come on, Addie."
Addison frowned and shook her head. "Fio, no. You might get in trouble with the Crawfish."
Fiolina groaned. "At least call Jordan."
"Jordan?" Addison frowned. "Fio, no. I... I don't really wish to depend on him any more than I already have. I still haven't recovered from the fat-shaming incident."
"Addie, come on," Fiolina sighed.
Addison shook her head. "No. I can't. I find it very hard to forgive someone once they something like that to me. Sure, I can still get along, but... I don't forget stuff like that very easily."
Fiolina chuckled. "You a Virgo?"
"Mmm, is it that obvious?" Addison grinned sheepishly.
"Yes, extremely," Fiolina smirked. "I'll keep in mind to never get into your bad books."
Addison nodded. "You better." She sighed and decided to grab a few things before heading out. "I'm not sure if Felicia is giving us dinner today, so I'm gonna grab a chicken pie."
"And what will you do if she does provide you with dinner?"
"Eat it for breakfast," Addison nonchalantly said. "I've left this out overnight and it stays just as fresh."
Fiolina was being shocked by that piece of information. "Wow, okay."
Addison grinned as she came over to pay for it. "Any plans this weekend?"
"Not really," Fiolina shrugged. "What about you?"
"Well..." Addison shrugged as well. "Maybe I'll get some work done. Assignment dues are coming up."
Fiolina nodded understandingly. "Good luck, dude."
Addison smiled ruefully. "Yeah, it seems like I'm gonna need it."

Addison sped walked towards the alleyway she loathed, groaning to herself at the fact that she has to walk just because Jake wasn't available or even answering her calls. She couldn't help but wonder if he was tied up at work, or if he's already home and asleep on the couch, or if he had forgotten about her, or if his phone was just dead since all of the above had previously occurred.
She wanted to sing to herself like what she had done before, but couldn't help but remember the creepy lady that tried to join in with her. Also, Addison thought it was wise to not sing since she also had to steady her breath since speed walking can lead to breathlessness very quickly.
And it caught up on her instead of Addison catching up with it. She ended up stopping just before reaching the end of it to catch her breath.
Maybe speed walking this much wasn't such a good idea after all. Her calves ached from it too and so did her feet. Addison decided to change her strategy now.
She started walking in a much more relaxed manner, slower too. After all, she had already reached the end of the cursed alleyway. What could go wrong now?
Addison took a deep breath and smiled to herself with relief since she managed to get through the alleyway in one piece.
Maybe those smug thoughts wasn't such a good idea, for the moment she stepped out of the alleyway, she was ambushed by a mad-looking biker. Addison figured that he was a snatch-thief or something like that since it didn't seem like he was interested in anything else.
"Alright, if you want my bag, I'm taking your bike!" Addison thought she did something with that remark, only to realise a few seconds later that there was no bike. Just a helmeted dude in black. Addison wasn't really sure if he was wearing black since it was too dark to make out any colours at that rate, so she just assumed. "Okay, then I'm just gonna run!"
She started running, but was dismayed to find that the the lunatic had also started running after her. Addison cursed to herself. Why did they always have to pursue?
She also prayed she wouldn't fall down because the last time that happened she wound up with a concussion and a sore body.
It seemed like her prayers had been answered since the next thing she knew, she was running straight into a flash of light, and then found that she was running down the road in front of the Kennedy home. Addison stopped and turned around to see the Superhero standing in the middle of the street as well, looking ominously at her. It was still strange how his appearance made him look more sinister than what his intentions actually were.
"Thanks for that," Addison smiled as she walked over to him. "That guy came out of nowhere."
The Superhero nodded and ran past her, then disappeared in a flash for like she always did. Addison sighed. What would she do without her.

As soon as Addison was inside, she looked around to see if Fleurette was home. She found Felicia instead, in the midst of feeding Freesia and Frida in the kitchen.
"Felicia, is Jake home yet?" Addison asked. "Because he didn't come to pick me up today and he isn't answering my texts."
Felicia turned stopped whatever she was doing and turned to look at her in surprise. "He didn't come and get you? Oh, no..."
"Yeah..." Addison sighed. "I sure hope he's okay. Shall I call his workplace? The number should be online."
"I have it," Felicia said and went to get her phone, which was on the living room coffee table.
While the two women were fumbling with that, the garage door opened and Jake walked in.
"Sorry, I couldn't pick you up, I had to get off work late," Jake said. "My phone died too and when I charged it in the car, I found that you already left from Fiolina. She texted me about it to ask where the heck I was."
Addison sighed. "That girl... she didn't have to do that."
Jake shrugged. "Well, I'm sorry I couldn't come."
"It's alright, I got home safe because of the Superhero," Addison sighed. "At this point, I think they're stalking me..."
"You still think it's Fleurette?" Jake smirked.
Felicia snorted. "You think it's Fleurette?" But then she frowned as she realised something. "Wait a second... you could actually be right. After all, that could be the reason she comes in so late..."
Jake nodded, still smirking. "Could be..."
"Are we gonna do our heist today?" Addison asked. "You know, stay awake and confront Fleurette when she comes home later?"
"I dunno, you tell me," Felicia grinned. "After all, if she's really the Superhero, wouldn't it be wrong to do so?"
"Well, it is still a little mean of her to do that as a tenant," Jake pointed out.
As they were in a heated discussion about this, with Addison remaining neutral on this, Jake agreeing that they should stay awake and confront her, and Felicia disagreeing with him, the front door opened and someone stumbled in.
The three turned to look and spotted Fleurette unsteadily walking in with her hair in plaits, then giving them a finger gun with one hand, and then walking right up the steps.
She did not lock her front door in her wake.
"We should do this in the morning instead," Jake finally said.
Felicia nodded. "Yeah. Let me lock the front door."
If the Superhero really was Fleurette, then she must be a terrible tenant.
