It was Saturday, so Addison woke up at eight, had a small breakfast of instant oats, and lazed around for about an hour before going downstairs to see the situation. Stepping out of the room made her remember the happenings of the night before in an instant and she wanted to know how it turned out.
There was no one in the living room so Addison made her way to the kitchen. Although, she didn't have to since the whole party was gathered in the dining room. And the discussion seemed intense too.
"So, what happened?" Addison asked as she went up to them.
Felicia pointed at seat for her to sit down. Addison quietly did so and regarded the rest at the table.
"So, remember the eviction notice that we were talking about last night?" Giuseppe piped up. "Well... Felicia didn't need to serve it."
"Oh?" Addison asked, interested. "What happened? Did Fleurette make up for what she said last night in an orderly manner?"
Felicia shook her head. "No. She evicted herself. Her room door was wide open and she left a note on the desk, together with a few hundred-dollar notes as an 'advance rent' payment. What's worse is she left half the amount necessary. But I don't care. She already paid a whole month's rent in advance as a deposit. And I don't usually ask for a down payment to leave anyway."
"It's like she has split personality or something," Addison frowned. "Sweet at first, then deadly afterwards."
"That." Jordan nodded approvingly. "Her following us to school for breakfast counts as the latter."
"I agree," Giuseppe nodded. "Also, we were thinking of ambushing your friend later."
"Who?" Addison asked.
Jake smirked. "Jeff."
Addison couldn't help but snort. "Oh. Why not? He'd be glad to have you guys."
"And we can drop you off at work too," Felicia said.
"You're coming as well?" Addison asked, surprised.
Felicia shrugged. "Why not? We're also planning to eat out anyway."
"And you're coming with us," Jake added.
Addison shrugged. "Sure, why not."
Going for lunch sounded like a good idea since she would have to go to work and all she had so far was a cup of oats. It wouldn't last long enough until her shift comes, let alone during her shift.
So she agreed to go out for lunch with the whole party.

Jeff was surprised to see a whole gang stop by this time, with a new face too.
"Why, hello!" Jeff greeted gleefully. "I'm assuming that something big happened if all of you are dropping by?"
"Well, remember our new new tenant?" Jordan piped up.
"Yeah?"
"She did something last night and checked herself out today."
"And after all the buildup she did as well," Giuseppe added with a sigh. "She even tailed us to college, imagine that."
Jeff frowned, nodding. "Yeah, sounds like a nightmare."
"More like daymare," Jake said.
Addison nodded. "Yeah! Also, you won't believe what happened last night."
Felicia had wandered off to see what snacks she can get while the rest started filling Jeff in about the whole Shawarma-Cigarette Incident.
"And then when Mom brought the shawarma over to her, she was just like 'oh, I don't eat street meat' like we gave her food that we picked up directly from the... the road," Jake said.
"Asphalt," both Addison and Jordan said at the same time.
"Yeah, that," Jake nodded at them before turning back to Jeff. "And then she left this morning."
"Well, even if she didn't, I would've still evicted her," Felicia called from where she was at, holding a few packs of chips. "She was terribly disrespectful."
"And I agree," Jeff nodded at her before turning back to the rest. "And then what?"
"She left money on the table, didn't collect her deposit as well, and... vanished overnight," Jake animatedly said. "Also, we used that money for lunch."
"It was really good," Addison nodded approvingly.
"Oh, what did you guys have?" Jeff asked, interested.
"We went to that vegetarian place since these guys have been raving about it so much," Giuseppe said, pointing a finger above Jordan and Addison's heads each. "And the food was actually really good."
"And we also got you some porridge since you seem to like soupy stuff," Addison smiled as she placed a plastic bag on the counter. "There you go, keep the change."
Jeff burst into laughter as he pulled the container towards him. "Oh, you guys. You shouldn't have."
Felicia made her way back to the counter, prompting him to push the food aside with a smile and scan whatever she took. He gave her a staff discount and smiled as he handed the receipt back to her. "You seem like an awesome landlady, Madam."
Felicia snorted. "Madam? Call me Felicia, boy. All of Jake's friends call me that."
Jeff looked surprised as he regarded her tenants. "Even these guys?"
"Yep," Felicia smiled, then turned to the rest. "I see why you guys speak so much about Jeff. He's a really nice boy."
Jeff placed his hands on his heart. "Aww, thanks, Felicia! Means a lot hearing that from you."
Felicia chuckled. "Nah, you deserve it. Compared the terrible tenant I saw last night, you're a saint."
Addison burst into laughter at that, but said nothing as she turned around to smother it. Everyone lazed around the shop, with some sitting on the chairs and some on the counters.
"I think we should tell Crawfish that we need more chairs here..." Jeff said, seeing how there wasn't enough seatings. "Makes it hard for group hangouts."
Addison gasped. "Maybe we can have a PR Campaign where we promote Twenty-Four-Seven as a group-hangout spot! That would be nice!"
"It would," Jordan nodded. "Would be more fun for us to occasionally drop by."
Giuseppe shook his head, biting into a sausage. "I think you mean constantly, Ginger."
Jordan sighed. "Yeah, that." He looked around a bit. "All we're missing now is Fiolina."
Giuseppe grabbed his shoulders. "Did you get her flowers?"
"Uh..." Jordan gulped.
"Yeah, you did not," Addison joined in. "She gave you a whole bouquet of roses and what did you give her?"
Jordan sheepishly held out three fingers. "Three roses?"
"She gave you a whole bouquet of roses and you only gave her three?!" Jeff exclaimed from the counter. "Very bad, Jordan. Very very bad."
"That's what I told him the other day," Giuseppe nodded as he turned to look at him, then turned back to Jordan. "Do I have to intimidate you in order for you to get your woman flowers?"
"That's what it took for him to apologise to Addie, apparently," Jeff added unhelpfully.
Jordan clicked his tongue as he looked at Jeff over Giuseppe's shoulder. "Come on, man. That's not true. I tried to apologise to her at school, but she got away from me."
"And that's my fault?" Addison crossed her arms as she regarded him.
The Kennedys wanted no part of this whole Alford drama, but stood aside to watch while munching on potato chips.
"I think we're missing the point here," Giuseppe finally said, then turned back to Jordan. "You're getting her flowers tonight. You understand that, Capelli Rossi? You buy her Fiori Rossi tonight!"
"Yes, boss," Jordan meekly said.
Giuseppe seemed convinced and finally let him go, then straightened the creases of the poor redhead's shirt. "Make sure you treat her right, that girl is giving you the Princess treatment that she deserves."
Jeff and Addison exchanged amused glances. They certainly found the right person to deal with Jordan's antics.
