Moiraine, Lan, and the girls try to think about how they can inform the White Tower about Liandrin being Black Ajah.

Hello everyone!

Welcome back to my deleted and extended stories. It took me a while, but now I'm ready to start publishing my stories about Season 3.

I wanted to start on Sunday, but I will publish the first story today since we have visitors tomorrow.

I'm still heartbroken about the cancellation, but it doesn't stop me from writing more stories. I'm still heavily in love with this show.

A little reminder – since I wrote some Moiraine/Lan stories – those deleted and extended stories are based on the show, so the relationship between Moiraine and Lan is purely platonic.

I hope you're up for a long ride because I'm writing on story number 33 at the moment. I have many stories for season 3 coming up. I hope you'll enjoy them.

Happy Easter to everyone!

Moiraine sat in a chair in her rented bedroom, staring into the flames of the fireplace. The chatter of the three girls – Nynaeve, Egwene, and Elayne – was like a distant murmur. She didn't hear one word. Yes, it had been her who had asked them to meet her, but she couldn't focus.

Yesterday morning, they had arrived in Tar Valon. Elayne had rented an entire house for them since they had needed a place big enough for all of them to have a room. Their group had grown since the three Aiel women had refused to leave Rand out of their sight, and Loial had come with them, too. And Moiraine couldn't reveal herself to her sisters since she had been exiled from the Tower.

I, Moiraine Sedai, do swear to honor and obey Siuan Sanche. Daughter of the river. Clever as pike. Never to return until she calls me home. Or will the creator turn from me, and darkness consumes my soul.

It was hard to swallow when she remembered the oath she had given when Siuan had exiled her. It had been a personal oath. She hadn't bound herself to the Amyrlin's words. She had given that oath to Siuan, the love of her life. And Siuan had used that oath against her.

Moiraine's heart still ached when she thought back to that moment in Cairhien. The feeling when her oath got activated, and she was forced against her will to close the Waygate. No matter how hard she had fought against it, she hadn't been able to break free until it had been done.

Lying. That was what Siuan had accused her of. That she had been lying to her. As if she was a bloody Darkfriend! For twenty years, she had searched for the Dragon Reborn. Twenty years on the road, while she had wanted to be with Siuan. They had wanted to retire after a few years. Becoming fishwives, who lived a simple life by the river in a small hut. And now... That dream felt so far away now.

"Is she even listening?!"

A hand touched Moiraine's shoulder, and she flinched. In the next moment, she noticed Lan's presence behind her and recognized the familiar pressure on her shoulder. Quickly, the Aes Sedai looked around. The three girls were watching her, obviously waiting for her reaction. Blood and ashes! She got distracted by her own thoughts!

"What did I miss?" Moiraine asked, forcing her attention on the girls. They had gathered to talk about the Liandrin situation.

Nynaeve growled. "Why are we here if you don't pay attention-"

"It's late, Nynaeve," Lan interrupted the Wisdom calmly, drawing her anger to him.

"I know that. I would love to be in my room, preparing for bed. But she told us to meet her here because-"
