Lucas' POV:

I woke up today in a really good mood. It's the love of my life's 16th birthday, Riley. Riley and I have had an "official unofficial" thing going on for about 5 or 4 years now. Ever since Maya turned 16 she dragged us all out to LA. We never actually knew why, but I don't regret it at all. I love it here. I walked into the bathroom and took a quick shower. When I got out I brushed my teeth and combed my hair up into a swooped flip that Riley loves. I throw on a Grey Billabong short sleeve shirt and a pair of dark blue Hollister jeans and my black vans. I go into the kitchen and greet Farkle, "Hey man." He replies with, "Hey Goodmorning." I yawn and ask, "Where's Maya?" Farkle answers, "She just walked outside on the balcony." I nod my head and walk towards there. I look out the window first to make sure she's there. I wanted to ask her what time our flight was. When I peeked out the window I saw a guitar with Maya behind it strumming it. I whisper under my breath, "Maya how could you not tell us?" I decide in my head that I will keep it a secret just like she's been doing with us. I don't understand why she wouldn't tell us that. She's really really really good. I put my ear up to the glass and listen. I hear singing. A beautiful, clear, angelic voice:

I stand there in awe of Maya's hidden talent. I see her slowly Turn her head back and I dart away as quick as I can, hoping she didn't see me. I have to talk to her about this.
