Skip ahead the day before the tour

Maya's POV:

When Riley took me to the doctor a few weeks ago, she was right. I did have a concussion. I had to sleep a lot and drink lots water for the past 3 weeks. Finally I'm fully recovered and tour starts tomorrow.
It's about 8am and I literally just woke up.
Riley comes running into room and jumps on my bed saying, "TOMORROW IS TOUR! TOMORROW IS TOUR!" I give out a tired and groggy sounding sigh and say, "Yeah Riley I know." She pouts and says, "Aren't you excited?" I quickly pull her down on the bed and say loudly, "Yes yes yes yes yes!" She laughs and pushes the hair out of her face.
I ask, "So how'd you sleep?" She says, "Great. I went to bed early last night so I got like 10 hours. What about you?" I sit up and say sarcastically, "Well. It was going good. Dreamed about performing. But then all of the sudden.. I was ferociously woken up by a little mouse screaming! Weird, huh?"  Riley pouts and says, "Not funny. I'm not a mouse."  and I laugh and say, "I know pumpkin."
Last night Michelle texted me that the tour bus would be here around noon today so we can make sure we have all of our things packed. Our first show is tomorrow at 1:00pm in San Diego. So we have to start driving by 5:00pm tonight.
Riley shakes me and says, "I'm so excited I can't believe it I'm so proud of you!" I feel myself blush so I quickly cover my face. She says even louder, "AWEEE MAYA! YOU'RE BLUSHING!!" I take away my hands and shake my head and say, "What? No, no I'm not blushing. It's not like that meant a lot to me or anything." And laugh. She says, "Wanna know what the best part is after we come home from tour?" I raise my eyebrows and say, "No? What?" She says, "Remember.... We get to go back to school!" Oh great. We got to take a year off of school after our move, but we still had online classes. Now for this school year our parents want us to go back to John Quincy Adams. Damn I forgot about that. That's the worst part of tour ending.
Although, school isn't THAT bad. Riley and I are liked in school. She's the goofy, funny, cute, and awkward girl and I'm the cool, tough, "bad" girl who couldn't care any less. We're the two that everyone loves. I just hate school so much because of the fact that Riley's dad tries to teach me and how early we have to wake up.
Over the past few months I've gotten lots of texts from our former classmates wishing me luck on tour and that they can't wait to see us again. I've been so caught up with other things lately my mind was completely taken off them. A thing that I actually am excited for for the school year is to be back in New York to see family and Josh. I think I'll remember how perfect I am for him so I won't have any complications with Ross.
I respond to Riley sarcastically, "Yaaaay." And give an eye roll. She sighs and says, "Oh come on. You love school! You get extra time for sleep in my dads class! And You'll get to see your mom and Shawn and... Josh." When she said Josh her tone of voice dropped down and she said, "About that.... What was up with you and Ross that day you two got home?" I try to play it off and act clueless and say, "Huh?" She glares at me and says, "You know exactly what I'm talking about. I haven't brought it up these past weeks because I let you recover. Now that you're fine... Give me an explanation." Her voice sounded demanding. I can't tell her about the kiss. I CANT! I won't. I'll make something up. I say, "Fine. That day Ross admitted to truly liking me and he was flirting with me the night we saw Justin. He stood up for me and I liked the way it felt. I guess I just miss Josh." She breaths in slowly and deeply and looks around my room. She says, "Okay. I'm not gonna get into this so I'll just let it go." Wow. That's not like her at all. Usually Riley doesn't let anything go unless it's fixed. I say, "Really? Wow, Okay then." She gets up and says, "I'm gonna go pack." I nod and watch her walk out.
I'm already packed so I decide to FaceTime Josh.

On Facetime

Josh's face lights up and says loudly, "Maya! I haven't seen you I missed you." I smile widely and say, "I missed you so much." He says with a frown, "Tomorrow is tour, huh?" I don't think he knows that were coming back to NY. I say, "Yeah, but then I'll see you a lot after it's over." He sighs and says, "Yeah but you'll be caught up with recording and stuff and I'll have work and school. I won't get to see you in person till like Christmas." Yeah he definitely doesn't know this is gonna be good. I say, "Or try the whole year because we're coming back to New York to go to school!!" His jaw drops and yells, "WHAT? YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAASSSS!" I laugh and I see his mom come in his room and she says, "What's the matter Josh? Why are you screaming?" He says, "Maya and Riley and Farkle and Lucas are coming here for the school year after tour!" She looks at the camera on the phone and says, "Oh look Josh there's Maya! Hi Maya!" I laugh and say with a smile, "Hi Mrs Matthews." He says, "Yeah mom I know she's there." She asks me, "When will you guys be here? Josh keeps telling me he wants to see you! He won't shut up about you! You're really something special to this boy." I blush. That's the cutest thing Josh is so sweet. I say, "Early October we will be home so definitely before Halloween!" She smiles and says, "We can't wait to see you all!" And walks out. I immediately say to Josh, "Awe babe you talk about me? That's the cutest thing, I love you." He smiles at his feet and says, "Well yeah I do a lot." He's like a little squishy baby I just want to pinch his cheeks. I don't know why I ever second guessed me and him together. Ross would be great too, but I'm good with Josh now.

Tour starts tomorrow!!!!! I'm excited! I think I'll make the tour about 2 chapters because every show would be the same. So I'll skip around fairly quickly so they can be back in school soon! Who's excited? ;)
