Seventy Eight

Maya's POV:

It's 8:30. Ross should be here any second.
I'm wearing a tight navy blue dress with a pair of black heels with my hair straightened and black winged eyeliner, mascara, and smokey eyeshadow.
Finally I hear a knock on the door. I open it and see Ross standing there with a bouquet of flowers in his hand. I have to say, he looks AMAZING in a suit. He hands me the flowers and says, "This is just a little welcome back and I missed you gift." I thank him and put them in a vase on the counter. He holds his hand out and says, "Shall we go?" I say taking his hand, "We shall!" He leads me into his limo and opens the door for me and climbs in. I say, "Where's the rest of the band?" He says, "They went early to set up. Plus like I said, this is just you and me." And smiles at me. I smile back and say, "This is really nice."
For the next 20 minutes we engage in pointless conversation till we get there. Ross gets out before me holding the door open with his hand out for me to hold. I hold it and we walk into the music blasting, celebrity filled, fun, house party. I ask, "Who's place is this?" He says, "It's one of Taylor's." One of? This place is huge!
Ross leads me over to the corner and says, "I know you all know each other but you've never met. Maya this is Justin and Ariana. Ariana and Justin, this is Maya." Ariana hugs me and says, "I've been wanting to meet you. Your music is great you're very talented!" I blush. That means literally everything coming from her. I say, "Thank you so much! But I'm no where near you." She says with a smile, "You're getting close." Justin looks at me and smirks. He says with a raspy voice, "Aye I'm Justin but you knew that." I say, "Hi, I'm Maya but you knew that." He laughs and says, "I love your music." I can barely speak this is so surreal. I say, "Thank you! I love yours a lot." He thanks me and we all talk for the next hour or so. Ross says, "Does anyone want a drink?" We all say, "Sure." And he goes to the kitchen and pours us 4 drinks. After talking to Justin for a while you get the real vibe of him. He's literally the sweetest and most funny guy. He likes to joke around and is a very social person. He says, "So how are you handling the paparazzi and fame filled life?" I say, "Actually I haven't encountered paparazzi, but I have been bombarded with fans. But honesty I love it. How do you handle it so well?" He says, "Well ya know. Since I've been growing up with it, it's just a normal thing and I enjoy it too, but I would love to have privacy every once in a while. So enjoy that for as long as it lasts." I say, "I definitely will. Thanks." Just as I say that Ross comes back with our drinks and distributes them out. He stands next to me with his arm around me. Justin says, "Oh are you guys?-" I say quickly, "No!" Ross moves my hair behind my ear and whispers, "I wish." I inform Justin, "I have a boyfriend, so." He says, "Really? He's a really lucky guy. Like super. Does he realize it?" I giggle and say, "Yeah he does." He asks, "Can I see a picture of you two?" I pull out my phone and show him my lock screen which is a picture of him kissing my cheek and me smiling. He says, "Awee! You guys are cute. What's his name?" Ariana looks over Justin's shoulder and says, "AH! Cuties!" I laugh and say, "Thank you, his name is Josh. Josh Matthews." Ari asks, "How'd you meet him?" I say, "This sounds weird but he's my best friends uncle. He was born.. Late I guess.. And he's only 19. I met him about 5 years ago." Justin says, "At first yeah that sounded weird but I got it. That's cute though. Where's your friend you should've brought her!" I say, "Well she's back in NY. We moved from there to LA a year ago but we went back for school. I flew out here today for recording, not knowing of this party." Ariana says, "It's not too late. Fly her out!" I laugh and say, "I wish." She asks, "What's her name?" I say, "Riley." Ross says, "Matthews. Riley Matthews. She's the cutest girl ever. You just always wanna pinch her cheeks. She's got long brown hair, brown eyes, rather tall but shorter than me still, she's quirky and funny. You've got to meet her." I say, "Well yeah that's pretty dead on." He laughs and Justin says, "Show me show me." I say, "Okay... I'll show you." Quoting his song. Ari says, "THAT WAS GOOD." I laugh and get my phone out again. I show a picture of me and Riley from over the summer. Justin says, "You're right Ross she is cute. She has to have a boyfriend right?" I say, "She'd be crying if she heard you say that about her. But yes she has a boyfriend." He says, "I have that affect on people. But ah damn. I was hoping you were gonna be like 'nope she doesnt!'" And pouts. I say, "Oh hush you're Justin Bieber. Girls drool over you." He says, "Well yeah but only for my looks or fame. I'm looking for a girl that is genuinely all around perfect for me. Great personality, funny, caring, adventurous, and likes me for me. Outside beauty isn't that important. Because if you have a personality like that, you ARE beautiful." I say, "Justin that was the best thing I've heard from a guy. You're a great guy! To find someone like you today is hard. You will definitely find the perfect girl." Ross says, "Hey! I'm a perfect guy too." I pat his cheek and say, "Yes you are." Justin blushes and says, "Thanks." And I smile.
For the next few hours, more world known celebrities come and talk to us, and more drinks are given to us. It's already been a great night and it's just begun.
