Maya's POV:

I woke up this morning rather early. That's what I get for falling asleep so early. I check my phone:
7:49am
2 new messages (Michelle) (Ross)

Michelle: hi Maya. I have some good news. But before I tell you, the record company loves the new music you've been working on. Now for the better news: we want you to do a Christmas collab song with R5! We know you guys are all good friends and thought this would be a great idea. They're all in for it so its up to you now. If you decide to text me back so we can schedule a day to gather ideas! Xoxo

Ross: Mayaaaaaaa i need to talk to you more. OH AND ARE YOU GONNA DO THE COLLAB WITH US? PLEASE SAY YES SO I CAN SEE YOUR PERFECT FACE AGAIN!

A Christmas collab with R5 sounds so fun! Of course I'm gonna do it! I text them back:

Maya: of course I'm all in!
Michelle: great! We're thinking mid November you can fly out to HW Records and we can talk
Maya: sounds good!

Maya: rossy poooooo OF COURSE IM COLLABING WITH YOU GUYS I CANT WAIT
Ross: YAAAAAAAY I CANT WAIT TO RECORD WITH YOU ITS GONNA BE SO MUCH MORE FUN
Maya: DITTO DITTO! And I'm sorry I haven't been texting I promise I will more❤️
Ross: thank Jesus because i can't go another month without hearing from you😔
Maya: I know I missed you too. Text you in a bit I gotta get ready
Ross: okay beautiful💗

I stand up and tickle Riley's nose to wake her. She immediately smiles and her eyes flutter open. I giggle and say, "Good morning." She stares at me with a horrified look on her face and I say, "...what's that look for?" She shakes her head and says, "Oh nothing I was just in a thought I guess. What time is it?" I say, "About 8. So we can head out in a bit." She nods and I head to the bathroom. When I look in the mirror I give the same horrified look Riley gave me. I scream, "WHO DID THIS?" I bet everyone in this hotel heard me. I hear a big bang and a loud thump from the bedrooms. Sounds like someone fell. I storm out of the bathroom and see Josh limping out of the bathroom. He doesn't notice me and says worried to Riley, "She noticed didn't she?" Riley turns his head to me. I give him an evil smile and say, "Josh, sweetie. Please tell me this wasn't YOU! WHO HAD THE NERVE TO DRAW! ALL ACROSS MY FACE!" He says, "IT WAS ALL LUCAS' IDEA!" And points to Lucas who looks confused as ever and says, "Way to rat me out! It was you who wanted to go first and draw a dick on her face." Josh says, "Wasn't my fault she moved and made the marker jolt across her nose." I say, "Because if I MOVE IN MY SLEEP THAT SHOULDN'T BE A BAD THING BECAUSE THERE NEVER SHOULD'VE BEEN A MARKER NEAR IT! Now please tell me this is washable or you're all dead men." Their faces turn white and I say, "Okay. Josh.. If you knew I would react like this, WHY would you still do it?! I swear you're as dumb as rocks." I walk back to the bathroom and try to scrub off all the marker off my face.
After 10 minutes of scrubbing, my hand starts to hurt and I barely got half of it off. Josh walks into the bathroom and puts his hands on my waist. I give him a harsh glare in the mirror and continue to get the marker off. He whispers, "I'm sorry. I didn't think it'd be this hard to get off. It was just a little joke." I give him an easy to believe fake smile in the mirror. He says happily, "So we're good?" I say, "Of course." He smiles and before he can say anything I throw my elbow into his crotch. He moans from the pain and slowly sinks to the ground. I say, "Sweetie I would never just let you go like that." He says in pain, "I figured." I turn around and crouch down to him. I hold his face and kiss him. I turn back to the mirror and he says confused, "I don't think I will EVER understand girls."

Okay this was just a one thing chapter. Next one I might just skip ahead to when Maya goes to LA to record but I'm not sure. Let me know! Thanks for reading :)
