Maya's POV:

So apparently Morgan is staying here the rest of the week for Christmas. There's something about her that I like a lot.
Shawn came into Riley's room waking us up, "Tomorrow is Christmas Eve!" I stretch out and groan, "I knew that but was it really necessary to wake me up to say that?" He says, "Well jeesh I rarely see you anymore I thought you'd be more excited to see me." I open my arms and motion him to hug me. I wrap my arms around him and say, "I did miss you." He laughs, "I know you did. Now come down stairs sleepyheads. Breakfast is ready." And walks out. I shrug and grab my guitar and start quietly strumming random notes. Riley stirs awake and yawns. I say, "Morning." She says tired, "Goodmorning. Whatcha playing?" I say, "Nothin, just notes. Shawn just came in and said breakfast is ready." She says, "Tell him to bring it in here." I laugh and say, "If only he would. It's worth a shot." I grab my phone and call the house phone. Cory picks up and I say, "Sup." He says confused, "Maya? Where are you?" I say, "Waiting for our breakfast duh. Chop chop." He laughs and says, "Don't you wish." I hear Topanga say distant, "Tell them to get down here." Cory says, "What's it gonna take to get you two down here?" I say confidently, "Nothin! We're staying here." Cory says, "Just come down." I groan and hang up. I rub my eyes and say, "I don't wanna get up yet." Riley says, "Me either." I lay back down and bury my face into Riley's shoulder and warm neck. She hugs my arm tightly and we soon fall back asleep.

Shawn's POV:

After Topanga,  Cory, Auggie, and I finish breakfast Topanga says, "Alright where are they? Shawn I told you to get them down here." I throw my arms up in defense and say, "Hey I did! I just came down here after I told her without waiting for a response." She sighs and snaps, "Wow you're an awful parent. You're not supposed to let them win." I chuckle to myself and say, "Well I'm sorry. I'll go get them this time." I get up and walk upstairs. Topanga's a feisty one. How has Cory dealt with her all this time. I laugh to myself and open the door. Before I say anything I can't help but say, "Aweee." When I see them asleep cuddling. I take a picture and run down to show Topanga and Cory. I say, "I didn't have the heart to wake them up. Look!" Topanga says, "It's almost 12 in the afternoon and they're still asleep. Let me see this stupid picture then I'm gonna take this myself." I show the picture and the frown on her face grows into a smile. She says to herself, "Awe. Look at my girls." I smile and say, "Let's just let them alone the whole day." She says, "As much as I want to, we shouldn't. Go get them for real this time."

Maya's POV:

"Come on baby one more kiss."
"Get the fuck away from me. I'm not your baby."
"Hey don't be like that to me. I told you I'm sorry."
"And I told you I didn't care or even want your pathetic apology."
He pushes me against the wall forcefully holding me by the neck.
"HEY. I SAID I WAS SORRY. WHY CANT YOU JUST FORGIVE ME AND STOP BEING SUCH AN IGNORANT STUBBORN BITCH!"
He takes another large swig of vodka. I tremble. Gasping for air.
"I. Don't.. Want. To see.. you again. I told you that."
He punches me in the stomach and the face for the fifth time.
"Fine. Be that way. It's not gonna stop me from loving you."
He strips the shoulders off my shirt.
His hands release from my neck and move underneath my shirt. Grasping my breast. His slobbery lips fall onto mine. I grab the collar of his shirt and twist it in my grip. I kick his ankle and swing him around so he's on the wall. He slurs furiously,
"Youuu bitch. I willlll Kill yyyou."
He pushes his body onto mine and throws his fist onto the side of my head. I see blurred vision. Everything muffled. I'm in so much pain.
Suddenly, the world turns black.
