Seven

Mayas POV:

Riley kept asking me why I couldn't tell her why. It would mess up my whole plan. It was a close call, I'm so relieved she let it go.
She seemed a bit off for the next hour and a half. She didn't talk much and just stared out the window the whole time. I guess it's just because she feels a bit nervous about flying. So I wanted to comfort her. I grabbed her hand and she tightly squeezed it and looked at me and smiled. I love that smile. It makes me really happy. I couldn't help but smile back and say, "Only 5 hours to go! Sorry about that I should've told you in advance." She says, "It's gonna go by so quick don't be sorry it doesn't matter that much." I pull out a neck pillow I also got for her and say, "I got you this because every flier needs one. Especially on a long flight like this." I had a gift planned to give to her to go along with every little thing we do. And this was one of them and the album is the last. It's all I can think about. Once I put it on her pillow and she walks in there's no going back. The thought of that puts my stomach into knots. I shouldn't be nervous about it its only my good friends that I trust. She thanks me and gives me a big hug. I wrap my arms back around her and smile. She puts the neck pillow on and leans her head back and closes her eyes. I do the same and within minutes I'm out like a light.

Lucas' POV:

I look up from the airlines menu to see Riley and Maya both asleep. I ask Farkle what he wants and offer to pay. We both get a pepsi and order two waters for the girls when they wake up. I think about what I saw: Maya playing guitar and singing. I'm debating in my head whether or not to tell Farkle. He's my best friend he deserves to know. But then again he should find out how Maya wants us all to find out. Well I already ruined that by accident so maybe I should just tell him. I'm snapped back to reality when Farkle snaps his fingers in my face and says, "Lucas? Is everything okay? You look like you're confused and worried about something. You can tell me anything. It'll be our little secret." He seems like he's really concerned. I want to tell him. But I shouldn't. What if the girls hear me? What if he freaks out and accidentally slips it out? I don't know if I can risk it. "Yeah I'm ok. I just.. I.. Found something out that I wasn't supposed to. And.." Farkle cut me off and says, "it's okay you don't have to explain. If you ever want to tell me I'm open ears." And smiles. I smile back with a relieved face and say, "I'll tell you. And if I don't, you'll find out eventually like I was supposed to. I'm sorry." He replies back with, "it's no biggie, really."
And for the next 5 hours Farkle and I talked the whole time while Maya and Riley were in dreamland.

Kinda boring chapter. The flight will end in the next one. Sorry about these two past chapters have been not so eventful. Drama is coming up! ;)
