Fifty Nine

Maya's POV:

I woke up early that morning feeling confident. Whether Josh's excuse was fake or real he still cheated. Whether he was drunk or not he still cheated. I'm not putting up with it. I quietly climb out of bed trying not to wake Riley, and call Josh:

On the phone

Maya: when do you want to talk about this
Josh: well I have work in 2 hours so whenever before then
Maya: then now is good?
Josh: now is perfect
Maya: good. Be at Riley's
Josh: okay I'll be there in a few. I love you
Maya: yup

End of phone call

Okay. Now I have to face him and decide whether he gets another chance or not. I don't want to give in. I know Ross wouldn't cheat on me.. I go back into Riley's room and grab an outfit out of my suitcase and got changed in the bathroom. When I come out Josh buzzes in and I let him in. He says loudly, "Oh Maya I missed you so much!" I put my finger over his lips and say, "Let's just keep it down. Everyone's still asleep so let's get this over with before someone comes down." He nods and says, "Maya I swear I would never intentionally cheat on you to hurt you. You're my perfect princess and the only thing I want and need. There's no one better than you. I'm sure you remember Laura. Well she was the bitch who spiked all my drinks and started to make out and get more into it with me. I was so drunk I must've assumed it was you. My buddy Alex was there and he told me he saw everything and explained it to me after I went home in the morning. Maya please I swear on my life this is the truth. You know I wouldn't ever do anything like that. Please believe me." Okay now it all does make sense. I can totally believe Laura did something like that. She wants Josh along with 50 other guys. I was expecting more of a fight. I say quietly, "I forgive you. It makes sense now. Sorry for flipping out. I should've known when I recognized Laura in the picture." He holds my face and whispers, "Thank you. Let's just forget about this because you're here now. And I can do this." He lifts me up and I wrap my legs around his waist. Our lips crash together and move in synchronization. His tongue comes in through my lips. He brushes his fingers through my hair and steps towards the couch. I pull back and say, "Damn I missed that." He giggles quietly and says, "I missed this little face of yours so much more." He palms my face with his hand. I pout and push his hand away and say, "Not my fault my face is little compared to your big man hands." He says, "My hand is the size of your face." He laughs as he palms me again. I laugh back and say, "Okay okay go to work mister." He gets up and says, "Okay I'm going, but I'll be back after work. I love you." I say, "You better be. I love you too." I quietly close the door and walk back to Riley's room. I check my phone for the time:
9:00am
I decide to let Riley wake up on her own and then I can tell her.
I pour 6 cups of coffee into the coffee pot and wait for it to brew.
Farkle comes into the kitchen and puts his hands on my waist. I stiffen up and gasp a little. He giggles and says, "It's just me." I jokingly roll my eyes and say, "Well I didn't expect you to be here and do that." He says, "I'm like a ninjaaaaa." And grabs a cup of coffee.
I say, "You want some scrambled eggs?" He says, "Yes, 2 please." I say, "You got it." And pull out a few eggs from the fridge. After I make me and Farkle a plate, I decide to make some for Riley and Lucas too. I ask Farkle, "How many do you think Lucas could eat? I know Riley only eats 1." He says, "Hmm. I'm gonna say 3." I nod and pull more eggs out of the fridge.
After they're done, I leave the eggs in the pan so they stay warm.
I sit down at the table next to Farkle and ask, "Did Topanga and Cory leave already?" He looks up from his phone and says, "Yeah they left while we were still asleep." I nod and text Ross:

Maya: I know you didn't want to hear this but Josh wasn't lying. I forgave him
Ross: hey that's okay. Yeah it's not the best news for me but it is for you, so I'm happy.
Maya: thank you babe
Ross: ah. As much as I love that don't tease me like that.
Maya: sorry sorry
Ross: it's okay I still love you
Maya: you better always
Ross: ooo babe I will.

Just before I can reply Riley yawns and shuffles into the kitchen. She almost stumbles down the steps which makes me laugh. I say, "Not awake yet, huh?" She smiles slightly and shakes her head. I say, "Well Josh swung by." Her head shoots up and she asks anxiously, "WHAT HAPPENED?!" I take her hand and drag her to the bay window. I sit down and sigh. I say, "I know you wanted me to go with Ross. You were upset with Josh. I was too. But he explained me the whole story and he wasn't lying. We're still together. I'm sorry I didn't take your advice though. Don't be mad at me. I know Ross would always be good for me too." She scoots closer to me and says, "It's okay. I'm really glad you two are okay now. And there's nothing you could ever do to make me mad at you, Peaches." Welp. That was a lie. I've gotten her mad lots of times before. I say, "Riiight. Anyways, why don't you go eat your eggs I made you." She smiles and says, "Oo goody! Thank you."
After Riley and Lucas finish their breakfast we all head down to Topanga's to meet up with Zay. Isaiah Babineaux is one of Lucas' friends from Texas that transferred the year after he did. We all immediately clicked with him. He's a real funny and nice guy. We haven't seen Zay in about a year. It's crazy how time flies. We all talk and catch up for an hour or so.
Then suddenly I remembered holy shit I never went to see my mom after I came home. I say to Riley laughing, "I just realized I never went to see my mom at all and we've been here for a day. I'm surprised she hasn't texted or called me." She shoots up and says giggling, "Let's go now!" We sprint back to my apartment as fast as we can. I buzz in but.. No answer. I know she didn't have work today. Where was she? I say to Riley, "Oh well I have a key on me." We go upstairs and I unlock the door.
I start to feel sick right when I open the door..

Yay Josh and Maya are okay now! And I brought in Zay. I love him in the show so I decided to have him here too.
