Seventeen

Mayas POV:

At 8 I get a text from Josh asking if we were ready to go. I replied with: "Yep were ready now."
Riley and I said bye to Farkle and Lucas and walked outside to meet Josh who was standing in front of his charcoal bmw in his very classy but at the same time casual blue and black suit. "You look beautiful girls." Josh complemented us. We both blushed and thanked him. He opened the door for us and got in the drivers seat. Within 5 minutes we were there. Josh got out of the car and opened our door and led us to the house. We walked in and there are red solo cups everywhere already. I can tell this was gonna be a long night.
Riley and I were clinging together for the first half hour of the party while Josh was getting more and more comfortable and wasted. I looked over in the corner and saw him playing his fourth game of beer pong. He lost every game. Riley and I were talking to two other college girls whose names were Melinda and Staci. They were very sweet and they knew Josh really well. As we were talking about LA, some guy came over to us and sat next to me. He introduced himself as Justin. He looked fairly familiar to me and I couldn't figure out why. I talked to Justin for the next hour when he suggested we both got a drink. "Sure. One drink won't matter too much." I said. I offered one to Riley who was already talking to some other guy and declined the drink, which wasn't that surprising. Justin and I got to know each other pretty well. He's studying to be a doctor at NYU and lives a few blocks down from here. Then I noticed Justin go for his third drink and offered me my third, too. After that, last night was a blur.

Riley's POV:

I saw Maya walk off with some fairly attractive guy named Justin. I sat there talking to Melinda and Staci waiting for Maya to come back. It was starting to get a bit awkward. Then this guy came in and sat next to me and I could right away tell he was drunk. He smelt just like vodka. I tried to get away but I couldn't. He kept following my every move. Next thing I knew my lips were locked onto his. I tried to break away but his grip on my shoulders was too strong. He was starting to pull the straps off my dress down when suddenly he stopped and our kiss was broken apart when I heard Josh's voice scream, "GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF HER!" I fixed my straps and looked over to see Josh on the ground on top of the guy throwing punches at his face screaming at him. I was so scared I couldn't help but cry. I started to panic looking for Maya. I couldn't find her. I looked into one of the spare rooms to see Maya in bed with Justin. I couldn't believe what I saw. I started to scream for Maya to get up, "MAYA PLEASE DON'T TELL ME YOU JUST SLEPT WITH A GUY YOU JUST MET!" By this point I can't stop crying. Maya shoots up out of bed with her clothes all over the floor. I never thought she would go this far. She quickly puts all her clothes on and runs towards me and says, "I'll tell you later. We just need to go. where's Josh?" I say, "Maya you're drunk. We're going home. Josh is in a fight right now with a guy who tried to get with me." Mayas eyes open wide and grabs my arm and runs out to the living room to see people surrounding Josh who is hovering over the guy he fought who is laying on the ground with several bruises. There is blood every where. I grab Maya and Josh before he fights another person and we walk home. I check my phone:

7 new messages (Farkle) (Lucas)
Farkle: hey Riley how's it going
Farkle: is everything going okay
Farkle: hello?
Lucas: hey Riley. Farkle is freaking me out because you're not responding
Lucas: is everything okay
Lucas: please answer
Lucas: Riley you're scaring us please let us know you're okay.

We got home and I drag Maya to the couch and sit her down and give her lots of water to drink from all the alcohol she consumed.
Then I took Josh to the bathroom and put cold water on his bleeding lip and ice pack on his bruised eye and then I gave him water to drink too. I hand Maya some sweatpants and a t shirt and I give Josh Lucas' sweatpants and his sweatshirt to sleep in. I give Josh my bed so Maya and I had the couch tonight. After I get Josh into the bed he thanks me a lot and I smile and close the door. I go into the living room and make sure Maya is okay before she goes to bed too. I decided to save the story till tomorrow to tell Farkle and Lucas. Tonight was a very interesting night, but I hope it never happens again.

YAY the party chapter! But wow Maya and Josh. Poor Riley had to take them out of there and take care of them. Who's Justin? Why is he familiar to Maya? What will happen next?
