Riley's POV:

I saw Maya jump up and throw her fist towards Lucas' face. I some how was quick enough and grabbed her arm and pulled it back
"MAYA! Stop! Just talk to him about it. Stop getting like this so easily. He's only trying to be nice."
She sat back down and calmed down. She simply asked him, "Why didn't you tell me if you saw that? Who else did you tell? But no Lucas. I knew you all would tell me that I should make a career out of this and that's why I hid it from you all. Once you get big and famous, you change. And I don't want to change that way. I don't want to change unless I choose to. It was a big enough step for me to record this with a record company. That's where I got a check from because of how well I did on the album. They want to sign me to preform concerts and possibly go on tour. I don't know if I want to do that." She keeps her head down. It stays silent for a few minutes. I break the silence and rub her back. I tell her,
"Maya if you want to take that path and choose to be serious about music we will support you the whole way and won't let you become like the other celebrities. Ever. I promise. And besides, not all singers are bad people anyway!" She sighs and said,
"I don't know guys. What if this ruins our friendship? What if I do something stupid and we all get into a fight and we'll regret all of this and-" I cut her off and said, "Maya you're just rambling now. Nothing will happen."

Will Maya decide to get serious about music? Is Riley doing the right thing by encouraging her to do it?
