Eighty Seven

Josh's POV:

I look up and see Riley and Farkle asleep. I nudge Topanga and head nod at them. She whispers, "Mayas next. Watch." I quietly laugh and see Maya's bright blue eyes close. She leans her head on Lucas' shoulder and falls asleep. Right after, Lucas falls asleep leaning on the back of the seat. Cory jokes, "That was like the domino affect." And laughs. Katy says, "Awe. I love these cute kids." I say, "I'm in love with one of them." Topanga says, "Awe!" Cory says, "Watch it." I say, "Really?!" He gives me a stern look and says, "Hell yeah 'really!'!"
I tweet a picture of everyone asleep (picture at top of chapter) and say: "thanks for everyone coming out. You guys got the best of Maya. I know she's dreaming about y'all. She says she loves you guys and is very grateful, goodnight💕"
Finally after another hour or so, we get back to Riley's apartment. Katy calls, "Maya. Maya sweetie. Maya. Honey you gotta wake up now. Mayaaaaa. MAYA!" And at the same time Topanga called for Riley. They both shot up and hit their heads on each other's. They groan and say angrily, "Ow! What!" They say, "We're here." They shuffle up the steps to the apartment half asleep. I help Maya with her guitar case and put it in the corner of Riley's room. I kiss her goodnight and walk out and make my way home.

Riley's POV:

I don't have enough energy to change. I fall into bed and say, "Goodnight Maya. I love you." She says getting into bed, "Night Riles, love you too."

Maya's POV:

Even though I'm SO tired I can't fall asleep. I quietly grab my laptop and start brainstorming for more song ideas. I already have an idea for the song with Riley. I'm gonna call it Take On The World.
Now I'm thinking of another 2 Christmas songs. I have so many ideas right now. I decided to use what I was thinking of earlier today before the show: how Christmas should be the whole year round. And for the other one just talking about Christmas with a special someone, decorating, hot cocoa, snow, and the silver nights. Yeah Silver Nights. That's what I'll call it.

I got the tune for it and everything. I played it a bunch on my guitar and figured out mine and Riley's part.
I even got most of Silver Nights started. I think I can release maybe 2 of these by New Years! I'm most excited to record Take On The World with Riley. I've heard her singing in the shower and around the house when she didn't know I was listening. She's got a cute, soft, almost nasally sounding voice but in the good way.
The rest of the night, I got a second wind of energy and finished writing and playing Take On The World and Silver Nights. Now all we gotta do is record it. Since Christmas is this week we can't do it now, but I'm thinking the week after we can fly out for the week and just use the studio in our house. Yeah. This is gonna be great.

I really like this chapter because now TOTW is a new song and it is perfect because.. It's GMW.😂 who's excited for GM new year December 4? I can't wait another 3 weeks again😭 oh well I'll have the rest of these episodes to watch over and over for the 10000th time😂
