You sat at the bar stool sipping some random soda. All of your friends were out getting drunk while you sat here alone. You were assigned the designated driver for the night and you still had a while before you could leave. You've had the occasional guy come up and offer you a drink or a dance and then proceeded to act like an ass when you refused. You tense up when you feel a presence sit next to you. You could tell it was a boy, with maybe a little bit too much cologne. You hear him order two shots of something strong and his hands tap against the bar. His drinks are placed in front of him. He looks at you and smiles before offering the second one. Typical. You shake your head with a smile, your polite way of saying no. "Please? Just one and then we can go dance and have some real fun." He begs. "No thank you. I'm fine right here." You say trying to keep your polite attitude. "What do you have some boyfriend or something? It's not like he'd have to know anyway. At least I know better than to leave my girl alone at the bar." He argues getting angry. "Hey babe. Is this man bothering you?" You hear someone say. I look behind you and see a tall guy with brown hair and tan skin. You can tell he has a few tattoos that compliment his skin. In all honesty, he was hot. He places his hands on your shoulders and glares at the older man. "Leave my girlfriend alone." He snaps. The older man rolls his eyes and leaves. Your "boyfriend" takes his seat. "Sorry about that. I saw how uncomfortable he was making you." He says blushing. It was weird to see him go from confident to awkward so quickly. "I'm Calum by the way." He says. You offer a small smile. "I'm y/n" He smiles back. The bartender comes around he orders two sodas. He gives you the other one and you take it impressed. You can see him better now and take him all in. You notice he has a black eye. "How did you get that?" You ask curiously. "Some people just can't keep their hands off girlfriend." He says winking. You laugh at his crazy antics. You weren't bored for the rest of the night.
