Four - Everybody's Getting Noticed

"So, yeah, I, uh... Oh gosh..." I was vlogging as I went up the steps towards the office entrance. "Yeah, I advised Adam against sharing that.. Uh... Event. But he said he has very little secrets from you guys, so he posted it. He should be coming in today. I sent him home with Alesa and told him to take an aspirin. He should be fine, I mean I wouldn't have just dismissed it with medicine if he had broken something. No, he said he felt fine. He was burning up because of the amount of stress on his body from the weight, I won't get all sciency in explaining it, but yeah. He should be good to go."

I looked through the window. It was pouring rain. "I think I'll end this vlog here. I know you guys had a lot of questions about what had happened, so I figured I'd clear some things up. So.. Yeah. I'll check in with you guys later. Baiiiiiii!"

I stopped recording and put the phone away. My Twitter feed's been exploding with messages asking about Adam since yesterday. That should calm the wave down.

My phone buzzed. It was a Twitter message.

I laugh at the message slightly and leave a like. I might as well let her know I notice her.

I post the vlog as-is (since it was just a whole video) to my channel and go into the office. I was immediately greeted by a Ross-Hug. "I never got one of these, (Y/N)!" Ross says.

Oh shoot. I forgot.

"How's I forget?! I love Ross-Hugs!" I hug him back. We started to talk about the script for Minecraft Kindergarten, then Ross left to record his video.

I recorded, too. I did another episode of my Minecraft Survival Series, and was reading over the script when Max knocked on my door.

"Hey, (Y/N), you gotta sec?" He asks.

I turned in my chair to look at him. His face was slightly red, and he had on a yellow T-shirt that said "Real Men Love Bananas", jeans and sneakers with his necklace. He didn't have the beanie today.

Holy God he looks adorable.

"Sure, what's up?"

"See, well... Ross and I were originally gonna go to this new pizza place tonight, but Ross bailed out on me so I, uh..." He rubbed the back of his neck and made a face. "I was wondering if you wanted to come with?" He winced slightly for some reason.

I just smile. He was being so nervous for no reason.

"Sure, yeah! I'd love to!"

He sighed. "So tonight at 7 sound good?"

I nod. "Mm-Hm. Sounds great."

He smiled big. "I'll pick you up at your place." He ran off and literally crashed into the post between his desk and my office. "I'm good!"

I laugh and return to the script. Only it was hard to focus, because I felt really giddy on the inside.

He actually asked me to dinner! Mind. BLOWN.

I couldn't help but smile to myself.

Not too much, right? Oh my god why am I so nervous?! It's just Max, his funny, adorable, cute... Self... Oh shit I'm doing it again!

Pull yourself together, (Y/N). It's just dinner. At a pizza place. With Max. With Max! Oh my god!

Right when I was about to raid the closet again, there was knock on my apartment door. "Hey, (Y/N/N)! It's Max!"

Need I say anything else? Oh god.

I immediately dropped what I was doing, grabbed my purse and keys and ran for the door. I opened it, and he immediately smiled when he saw me. "Hey! You look great!"

I couldn't help but laugh a little. "Thanks. So do you." He did, too. He had on really dark jeans, black sneakers, he changed into a dark blue button-up collared shirt with the top two buttons undone, and had on a fleece jacket.

He just smiled more with a red face. "You hungry? Cause I am."

"Yes, let's go!"

He got a little bit of a concerned look. "You might wanna grab a jacket. It's supposed to get chilly tonight."

"Nah, I'll be fine." I turned off the hall light and locked the door. "Besides, the cold never bothered me anyway." (Wow. That's so unoriginal it's not even relatable.)

He immediately gave me a WTF face. "Dude. Seriously?"

"Too sleezy?"

"Extremely. Don't ever do that again."

"Promise."

Ooooooh! What's gonna happen? Who knows! We will on Monday! Also, don't worry, you're not going to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. ... Or are you? ☺

Yeah I hope you're okay with skirts cause you'll be wearing one. ALL. NIGHT. XD. 😀

Also, the Beef Stroganoff had no meaning. It was a random fill in for a time skip line. 😁

Oh, and Adam's fine! 😂
