So, a few months ago, my best friend made me try to ask my crush out a second time. He said no, and that he wasn't going to date in high school. I respected his answer and moral 100%, and I left it alone. He remained as my best friend. 💖
*We will refer to the boy as Carter. We will refer to the girl as Emma*
Well, I find out today that Emma decided to break the best friend code and talked him into dating her, knowing that I still had slight feelings for him.
Now, SHE told me, but she didn't tell me the whole truth.
She claimed that they were talking about dating, and they both agreed.
I was shown messages between them, with her ASKING HIM OUT, pulling the "One true love" card, and he said sure.
Not only did she LIE to me, she betrayed every bit of trust I had in her.
