(Y/N)'s POV

"(Y/N)! (Y/N)!" (A/N/H) squeals. "Can I go with you and Shakira when you go shopping?"

"(A/N/H)! Shh!" I scold. "Max is asleep. You'll have to ask Daddy. I'm not in charge."

She frowns, then runs off to my dad's room.

"Mm." Max jerks up with his eyes half open. "What happened?"

"Nothing, go back to sleep." I say softly. "You need it."

He just lays his head back on the pillow and sighs. I run my fingers along his hairline with my right hand and scroll through my Instagram with my left.

(A/N/H) comes running back into our room 20 seconds later and lunges onto the bed, landing on top of Max and making him sit right up and moan.

"(A/N/H)! Relax!" I scold again. I drop my phone on the end table and lay Max back down on his back. "You gotta be more careful."

"Sorry, Mr. Max." (A/N/H) says. "Daddy said I can go and I can use my money to buy a toy!"

"Yeah, whatever. I'll let Shakira know."

"(A/N/H)! Get your butt in here!" My step mom shouts. "I told you to leave (Y/N) and Max alone!"

She whines, climbs off the bed and runs out of the room.

"Holy shit that kid had some air on her leap." Max mumbles.

"Just relax," I say softly. "You need to get some sleep."

He nods with a sigh, rolls over on his side facing my leg and closes his eyes. I start to rub along his hairline again.

Then my phone vibrates.

- Fine. Trying to get Max to take a nap

Alesa D. - He didn't sleep last night?

- No We got in around 12:45 in the morning and he couldn't sleep because he ears kept ringing
